    Exactly. If the tuner is the size of a lego block, it should, ( and probably will) be incorporated into a PDA, (or better, cell phone). That would make the most sense.

    You're exactly right. In fact, I don't even think you'd need to go to analog, I'm pretty sure that I could download, via firewire, a CD to tape on my digital camcorder. From the camcorder, I could probably make unlimited copies. Camcorders, the other tape backup.

    So what if the ushers catch them. What happens then? Do they just kick them out of the theater? They'll just show up for the next show. What should happen is that police are notified and 10 of them swarm in, yank the guy out of his seat, and then make sure that the first ones caught get 3-4 years in jail. After a while, the others will get the message. And it's cheaper than issuing night vision glasses to every movie house.

    You're exactly right. That's what will keep their printer business from growing in the long run. I need to be able to buy supplies when I need them, without the expense and wait for them to be delivered. On the other hand, the only time I run out of ink is 10:00 at night when the kid is doing homework. You always need a spare on hand.

    Or maybe, things wrong in South Korea. The claim is they're making 6 figure salaries, yet, 8 of them live in a 2 bedroom apt. They can't afford a van. All of this guys clothes fit in a bag. Geez, what's the cost of living there? And no girls? Everything done by young males is done to impress women. If he can't have a relationship, he's just wasting his time. I just don't get it!

    Is the 3rd world. While these countries are poor now, their economies will be openning up. If they have adopted a standard of open source, they will have no reason to change. Certainly not at Microsoft's prices. The point will come where, if the US wants to do business, we will be forced to adopt their standards. Good thing we already have Linux here.

    I really doesn't matter if it's a cell phone or not. People will go out and drop $1000 on a video camera, but won't spend $15 on a book about how to properly film a subject. People will spend $1000 or more on a PC, but again, won't drop $15 on a book about how to use it. I don't think that it matters if it's a table saw or a gun, most folks won't spend the tiome to learn how to use it correctly.

    I upgraded all the computers in my company to new Dell PC's 6 months ago. Virtually all of the software and hardware problems I used to have are gone. Now, 30-40 percent of problem calls I get are related to spyware. Is there someone I can send a bill to?

    All fine points, but if the demand is there for the game, why not port the game? I love Rogue. I played it 20 years ago on a Unix box. Since then, I have played it on a Mac, an Amiga, a PC, and most recently, on my PalmPilot. As my hardware platform changed, the game was ported to adapt to the hardware, Why? Because folks like the game. If the SNES games are that desireable, port them, and the users will come. Or not.
