    QC makes sure what you ship is as good as intended. That intention could still be an issue for the end user.

    I used to carry a pocket watch, until I understood my nickel metal allergy. I got a sports wrist watch with a cloth band that kept the nickel back from my wrist.

    Then the band failed.

    So now I use my cell phone to tell the time. It is in my pocket, and much bigger than my old pocket watch. This is what we call progress?

    Is that 100 million years longer ago, or is it 100 million light years farther from here to the initial ripple? How far is it in wave numbers? Is that the right space-time measure?

    I suspect in SR these questions are meaningless, that you don't measure event separation like that. Does it have any better interpretation in GR?

    And what is so hot in the direction of Eridanus? There is no range data, right?

    It's a matter of convenience. Get over it.

    If they approached the topic impartially and decided impartially that the evidence is overwhelmingly in favour of climate change being a real actual problem, and that that's what they should report

    They are unwilling to report the evidence on which their decision was based. That is bad science and bad bad bad journalism.

    Old school journalism idea: If they are hiding something, there is something to hide. Exposing it is GOOD journalism.
