It seems to me that burnable copy is still DRMed, it just doesn't expire like the subscription copies. Which, at 99 cents, is the same as the itunes music store.
What's the legitimate use of temporary tattoos?!
After a robbery or something, you could just wash off the tattoos, and you will no longer fit the description of a guy with fantastic tattoos!
These things will never catch on.
Also, on the online apple store, the iPod Mini is consistently ranked above the iPod under best sellers.
Since we know that the iPod is still selling well, the iPod mini is obviously selling as well or better.
except if I DON'T HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION ON THE COMPUTER THAT I WANT TO PLAY ON!
I have to take the damn hard drive to work now, and validate it on a computer there. What about people without an internet connection at work?
So what's to stop people from just filling up gas canisters, instead of directly into their cars? I'd do it, if it saves me a few hundred a year.
And also, the article didn't say if this GPS system only charges for miles traveled on public roads. My Grandfather's pickup never leaves his property, except to go to the gas station. Should he be charged for the "wear and tear" he puts on his own gravel?
Yes, every song on my ipod was obtained legally. I don't think the ipod is going to be overtaken, because of the iTMS. I have bought more music from there, in the last year, than anywhere else, over the course of my entire life. And I wouldn't have bought nearly as much if it weren't for my ipod.
it's hard to do, but by filling out the web form here, and asking really nicely, but they probably wouldn't do it more than once or twice, since someone over at apple has to manually de-authorize your computers
so, because artists get a very small share of the profits, we should stop paying for the media at all, so that the artists make no money, just so we can screw over the people who take most of the profits. good idea.
yes, and other grants have much fewer restrictions than that. I doubt that the grant said "use this money to give students 20GB ipods." It was probably more along the lines of "for buying computer equipment," or had no restrictions, (some do) in which case the money could have been put to better use than buying iPods.
Ohhh you hit on something there. I've used friend's computers, and almost everything on there makes me cringe. Their computer will start up IE as the default browser and they have 3 different toolbars and want me to tell them why ads appear even when they aren't on a website and their wireless network has no encryption at all, and their internet connection is actually running slower because of the sheer volume of information being transmitted by various programs and cookies on their computer. Arrrg!!! Great, now I'm all worked up
Great book, but I can already see that it will be a horrible movie. From the looks of it, the robots just go crazy and kill people. In the book, there were actually excuses for the strange behaviors of the robots; conflicts between the 3 laws. However, I doubt that the movie will be any deeper than a kiddie pool.
programs out perform humans all the time. Where am I? my GPS knows. What was that person's number? my PDA knows. What is 2365 times 8675309? just use a calculator: 20517105785. Wow, I was just out performed three times in the space of a minute.
the nice thing about a cent is that it doesn't count for anything at all, unless you're in the really high numbers. you overestimated the amount by one million dollars
Yea, it is also just as easy to take someone's credit card, and use it to pay for anything. But why don't people do this as often as they steal cash? Because the penalties are so much higher. Sniffing someone's card number and spoofing the ID, which is linked to the CC, is still credit card fraud. The high penalties would deter most people

1) kazaa = 0%
2) iTMS = 718 songs = 53%
3) CC-licensed music = 0%
4) owned CDs = 617 songs = 46%
5) friend's CDs = 12 songs = 1%

This is making record companies a LOT of money.

yea, and then someone de-pressurizes the plane by shooting a hole in the cabin
So, 100% of people either use dialup or broadband? then where do I fit in?
oh, so that's why I haven't been getting screwed lately! Maybe I'd get laid more if I just. . . oh, nevermind.
The Airport Management Tools are still available on apple's website, contrary to popular belief

First Post!!!!!
Triple-redundancy is always a good idea. Isn't that how the Raman's got their ships to travel so far without breaking down?

does it have a flight suit?

yea, but you are 15, so your opinion means nothing
that is retarded
be careful not to say niggardly too much, or someone might take it the wrong way.... :)
don't you people realise that the Pepsi costs more than the music does?? Don't just drink the Pepsi to get the "free" songs.
