    I dont know if its a good idea to open source Java. Imagine every website you come to demanding that you install their "version" of the java plugin. Which then of course, in addition to adding addware to your system, will generally screw up your java environment. MS VM anyone?

    I play video games to (temporarily) escape from the real world, and here polical brainwashing dogma follows you right into your virtual world. Its sickening. Its happened in TV, movies, comics, novels, its everywhere! Where does a guy/gurl have to go to just play and have a good time? Why does there ALWAYS have to be a political message?

    WE want ENTERTAINMENT, not PREECHING! If I wanted preeching I would go to church or a college.

    These people(mpaa) are so clueless. If 2 million use linux and 180 million use windows, who rips dvd's and makes perfect copy's of dvd's with smart ripper and nero? who are the pirates? I submit that the majority of blank dvd's burned are on WINDOWS machines, not people using mencoder with dvdcss, waiting all night long to get a divx avi file!

    Hey I think it great. Im not really anti-capitolist, so I have nothing against walmart. If walmart wants to sell cheap PC's fine. Sun solaris is so hard to install and use, its really not marketible to the masses. I installed Solarisx86. It took a whole morning to install 3 CD's. I couldnt get the network going although I chose dhcp. Linux and freeBSD dont need 96 megs of ram to install, and are confiugred instantly, if you use dhcp on a home comp with broadband. Another point. First time computer users cannot tell the difference! Seriously, sell grandma, a linux system for $300, and as long she can do email, and solitaire... windows XP?!?!? whats that??? Why do I need it for 100$? My computer works fine now....

    I sure hope I will never have to do this. My Job gets less and less technical, and the company openly admints large company groth... in INDIA! Nothing against the good people of India until I start doing fries at McDonalds, which thankfully hasnt happened yet :) I will be interesting to see how they outsource drive through mcD's service :/
