    They've always held a firm grip on the third parties; this was especially apparent on the N64. many many things would get rejected as they had specific standards. I like their style.

    you're right... i nfact most of the core goldeneye team left, hence why timesplitters was so similar to GE at points. Basically, they lost a lot of the people who made rare RARE.

    It's a shame, but theyre still killer developers, regardless of the loss... just not AS killer...

    having said that, the old games took ages to restart sometimes, but there was a cetain 'ONE MORE GAME' aspect that made you WANT to wait.. i dont ge tthat with many new games...

    Shut up. Mario has never EVER lost it's overall charm - arguably the newer games have been 'different', but NEVER bad games, and often some of the best games EVER (sunshine & 64 were both stunning)...

    As for pikmin.. it deserves a sequel.. and zelda... name a BAD zelda... it's not possible.

    Well, I wouldn't underestimate religion on this, considering the pope is currently insisting that condoms 'spread AIDs' as they have 'little holes' in them which let the virus through.

    Religion will come up with some horrifically sick answer for this, i'm sure.

    theyre hard to see through any telescope, radio or optical because of the aura the stars give off.. theyre so bright that they 'engulf' the planets and make them too hard to see... .equally, the planets dont reflect enough light to be visible enough.......

    it's changing slowly and i for one can't wait to see a picture of the first plane toutside this system...

    Building them into wireless cards, recievers, routers is hardly a universal option which is going to arise quick. Wireless already has the encryption feature, that's the point. it's there, you can do it now.. not tomorrow, not when you upgrade, NOW.

    Ever get the feeling that that's an awfully roundabout way of doing something that can be achieved in literally minutes by enabling encryption on it?

    At the end of the day, it's easy, cost effective, and doesn't require a piece of other software.

    Yeah, but in case you didn't notice, the Chinese Government are some heavy handed people... they blocked half the net in fear of people looking at porn.

    They have a lot of say over people, and seeing as china is developing FAST, manufacturers can't afford to lost their market there by refusing some little standard, even if it does need a kick in the ass and a knife to the heart.

    One easy example - you use a file server and reguarly transfer files over to it, which cannot be encrypted as they need to be accessed over an apache server firewalled internally. These files are then 'caught' as theyre sent from your machine to the file server.

    Another example... you're using software which reguarly communicates between machines with data (i.e. a database software) but hasn't got the idea of encrypting the sent data build in and your company relies on said program. Therefore, you ge tit to be encrypted as it leaves your PC.

    There. Good enough?
