They refer to System Shock since it's the same team behind it, but they weren't allowed to make another System Shock since they didn't own the rights to the franchise.
Totally agree on this one, one of the best games ever. I love it how the other races hate you if you bomb a planet, but blowing it up with a stellar converter doesn't even get a raised eyebrow:D
Yup I did cry when Aeris died, any game that makes me care so much for a pixelbuilt character on a screen is an engrossing game. No matter how long ago I played it.
I still get sad every time I hear the Aeris theme music *sniffle*
Not really on topic, but I think the parents might have felt a lot of support from all the hugging, I surely do hope so, losing your child is one of the biggest tragedies for a parent.
