    Refuted, yes, but Mr. Silver also states that rigging stats would be very simple so it's not a big deal that this is wrong. He gives a great link to Juan Cole who has some good questions and irregularities.

    And let's not discount the soda makers trying to take advantage of the current public backlash against HFCS. When the corn producers have to put up ads promoting HFCS you know there's a problem there. Or, for the soda makers, an opportunity.

    Yeah, I posted a mea culpa and you are right.

    It's ridiculed, because what she said didn't make much sense. She was asked if she had foreign policy experience. Being in close proximity to a foreign country does not count. Maybe the reason Fey's statement is linked so much to the actual statement is because it was a good summation.

    It doesn't particularly matter. Politicians say dumb things.

    no, she didn't. Look, I don't pay attention to that crap. She didn't say "I can see Russia from my house." She said that Alaska keeps an eye on Russia when they come across the border and implied that Alaska somehow keeps Russia in line.

    Honestly, one make her look naive and one makes her dumb. I'm not sure which is worse.

    Is it? The bank charges the fee to the law firm. The law firm, collecting money for their clients, puts it onto the RIAA's bill. You think the law firm would pay those fees for their clients?

    Apparently, Take-Two offered 30 million for the IP back in January when 3d Realms showed them the game. 3d Realms said no, but did offer to complete the game for 5 million. TT said no to that.

    I don't know if that's true, but it sounds likely enough. 3d Realms has been milking this, likely, scam for years. If TT would have given them the money we'd be going through this again in two years.
