    Except you can get patents with minimally-functional claims, patents that are easy to design around & patents on something that requires buying or licensing other prior art patents.

    IANAL, but you need a good one in both contracts w/SEC experience and patents for a 'real read.'

    As someone else said, F500 companies buy customers.

    Longer living people in retirement will doom the economics that the whole country requires to operate. The existing Social Security system is already insolvent actuarially. A "Cure for Aging" would just make it collapse sooner.

    To maintain the economics of US society, it would become mandatory to work until you are 85 or 90 years old.

    All these stories seem to be part of the pattern to blame industrialized society, when in fact industrialized society is what has allowed worldwide societies to thrive in the last 150 years.

    When you search "Pineapple Express" in Wikipedia, you realize we are only a few years away from a repeat due on the 160 year cycle of mega storms hitting the West Coast.

    Geologists studying the California valley sediments know these groups of storms over a month's time will dump around 10 feet of water on California in a month.

    NOAA has been studying the size of the warm water buildup in the Eastern Pacific that feeds these storms for decades, so we know it is coming.

    Patricia is likely only the first one.

    For being STUPID in raising a false alarm with the police. If I wasted a bunch of police officer's time with a false charge, they wouldn't be very happy.

    This is a perfect example of the lack of knowledge in our public school systems on so many levels.
