    Most routers i've seen already run at 12VDC, it's just a matter of getting a cable with the right connector for a cigarette lighter (or maybe direct battery clips of some sort).

    There is. It's sort of a simpler version of bluetooth. I haven't seen any devices that actually use it, besides research projects.

    well the G1 is kind of a junky phone, not to mention TMobile is kind of a bum carrier.

    Android has a lot of potential, and when the Q4 wave of new android phones rolls out in time for the holidays, there may be a diamond in the rough.

    probably not any better than anything else...this is not a new technology, it's just an open implementation to save people the time coding. Although, once you read the right literature, a neural net like this isn't really rocket science to implement in the first place, so really it's just a time saver/crutch for students.

    It's better to list C and C++ seperately, if you're proficient in both. I've met several people who are proficient in one but not the other. People tend to think they're equivelent, but they're not.

    No, but they may stop going up (for a little while...)

    I assume you're referring to "Team America: World Police", which was quite disappointing if you ask me... But the plot of the average South Park episode is WAY more stunning than what most people would expect from a construction paper cartoon that makes a lot of poop jokes...

    A BSD style init script system rather then a SYSV one. It's easier to grok, IMO.

    disclaimer: when i graduated college, i switched to ubuntu, which is much easier to break when you muck around with init scripts and packages and such, but requires much less mucking. Slackware still holds a special place in my heart, though.

    A theif could easily take out the hard drive and read it using another device, no? you are locking a theif out of a laptop, not the data within.
