Why not set the gmail account up in thunderbird and then use a whitelist. Don't give them the password to the account so they can't access it through the site and see any spam that is coming through. That should take care of it. Just be sure not to whitelist their own account, i've noticed the spam that does get through on my email accounts appears to be from me.
Use to be googlegear. I've been using them exclusively for a long time. I'm not really sure about their staff, or how easy it is to return something, because I've never actually spoken to anyone there. I order something, I get it in three days, it works. I started using them because their free 2 day shipping made them cheaper than newegg at the time, and i've stuck with them because I've never had a problem. I'm sure at some point in the future, I'll have to talk to a live person there, and if I have a problem, i'll probably go to newegg or try mwave. I've not had any experience with the latter. But for now, ZZF has taken really good care of me (even got my MIR's with no problem).
As for tigerdirect, I've had a couple problems (both times i ordered from them), and I've heard of many more. But when they shipped my boss an empty box instead of ram, they gladly sent him another stick with no argument. So their service seems to be alright.
My knee-jerk reaction to this was "YOUR DOING IT WRONG!!!!!" but i don't know anything about the trackball you used. The trackballs I use, all allow for the thumb to move the ball and my fingers to rest on the buttons while providing a comfortable resting place for the palm of my hand. I can get all around my screen by only moving my thumb (and also dominate at MechWarrior against my mouse using friends). Other trackball designs I've tried required controlling the ball with your middle finger, while keeping the thumb on buttons. Look into other kinds of trackballs if the one you used required moving your hand. I know that switching to a trackball at work has alleviated a lot of pain in my wrist and elbow.
It doesn't say he's married, but i took "lost opportunity of keeping his family together", which could mean lots of things, as "my wife is leaving me because of you."
Sounds to me like his wife found out he was trying to pick up women on craigslist. He's blaming this guy for it getting out, instead of realizing it's his fault for trying to screw around. Given the choice between taking responsibility for his actions or suing, he chose to sue. That's the way I see it anyway.
If this guy was embarrassed about something he's into, taking pictures and sending it over the internet to someone he didn't know was obviously not the right decision. I never thought i'd say this, but for once i'm rooting for the troll.
The board has eight Hynix GDDR5 memory chips per graphics processor, four on the front and another four around back. Those chips are 1Gb each, so each GPU has a total of one gigabyte of memory to call its own. Cumulatively, 4870 X2's effective memory size is still 1GB, since data must be replicated into each GPU's memory space.
Actually, I just witnessed a friend pick up the ps3 for $400 at Wal-mart and he recieved a $100 gift card which he then used to purchase MGS4. Amazon is showing the price of the 360 basic package for $209 (used). And the 360 with only a 20gb hd is $350 (new). So, they are about on equal ground in price, but the ps3 offers a bigger hard drive (or A hard drive) and can play blu-ray movies. Doesn't sound like a very difficult choice to me.
And if you just add an s to the http it reloads the page as secure and ff3 gives it a green rating with all their info being avail through the new address bar.
so really all they need to do is change the link to the login page to include the s.
I would say you would win that bet. The last time i contacted Dell (part replacement for an in-law) After being on hold forever, I got an agent that spoke terrible English. He actually said "U as in Eugene" when going over the service code. I also think he was in training, every response took at least a minute. He used the mute button quite a bit, and had difficulty explaining his answers, like he didn't really understand what he was saying.
In Dell's defense, I got the same quality of support from HP. I believe the phrase "Let me explain you" was used in that conversation. Followed by "HP recommends you do not use more than one of their products"
That was actually suppose to be "One of the most successful writers in history". But even as it is, it's not as inaccurate as you say. The last four books consecutively set records for fastest selling book of all time, and the last book sold 11 million copies in it's first day. Half-Blood Prince sold 9 million it's first day.
In 11 years the 7 books have sold somewhere around 375 million copies. Ole Bill has had 400 years to get his numbers (most known works were written between 1590 and 1613) and Agatha Christie has had almost 90 (the first Poirot novel was published in 1920). So while she may not be THE most successful writer, it's hard to argue that she's not way up there on the list.
J.K. Rowling is the 2nd Richest woman in entertainment, beat out only by Opera, and IIRC she's also considered to be the most successful author ever. Hard to argue when she holds the record for fastest selling book in history, and i know that at least the last 3 books were on the New York Times bestsellers list months before their release. Add in the royalties from the movies and merchandise and she has quite the little empire.
I was more surprised to see Judge Judy on the list, right between Britney Spears and Sandra Bullock. But i didn't think people actually watched that show.
Wow, you make me feel like an evil bastard. I sat my girlfriend in front of a computer, let her watch me take it apart (except for removing the proc and mobo from the case), handed her an Ubuntu disc and said "It's yours when it works" and walked away.
Actually you could play them on any system. They are just a collection of wad files. All you would need to do is extract them and load them. This just happens to be setup with nxDoom which is for the DC. I'm snagging them to throw on the DC, but i'll prolly pull them off for the xbox and pc. Be fun to go through and see all the old mods. A lot of these sound familiar. This was my favorite game growing up and i spent many hours creating mods, and even more deathmatching on a 2400 baud connection. Ah, the good ole days.
I actually believe what it is saying is that there was a sexually explicit profile(s) created that included her picture which inferred that they were actually HER profiles when they weren't.
Like if i made a myspace page (god, help me) that talked about what a lunatic i was, and then used a picture of you as the display pic. It could reasonably be believed that you were the one who was nuts.
Sound like me. My housing arrangements have been based around broadband availability since i moved out on my own. I probably have it as a slightly higher priority than is reasonable though.
"Oh, I can get 50MB/s broadband here? Of course I'd love to live under this bridge...on the train tracks....next to the paper mill...downwind of the sewage treatment plant."
I use to build bombs on the coffee table, except that damn wobbly leg. Table shifted, things rolled, my house became short one living room.:(
But really, what kind of sane person would put a camera they didn't have control of in their living room? I don't even like having my webcam pointed at me when i'm not using it.
What really annoys me about this, is I can see people getting it and BEING EXCITED that it can see them in front of the tv and pick out what they want. It goes back to that "i have nothing to hide, so why should I care" philosophy. I have nothing to hide either, but I sure as hell care.
That works both ways, bub. Men have to show interest in things she likes too. It's a careful balance of "check out this new code i wrote" and "wow, those are nice shoes" I never realized how difficult these things were to balance until I got married.
i think it says something about your level of geekiness that your "emergency" porn is on an sd card for your cellphone then in a magazine under your mattress.
What about "system for encouraging the enraged debate between persons on the superiority of certain electronic devices and corporations disguised as a news aggregate system for the technology inclined"
hey now, didn't anyone ever teach you to respect your elders?
but seriously, i know lots of people that don't want cellphones. They don't like using a phone and don't want one they carry around with with them. Some people aren't all about being connected all of the time. How they manage it, i dont know. but they do, and seem perfectly happy that way. Who are we to judge?
I hope there aren't ill effects. My 6 year old uses Ubuntu better than my co-workers use windows. And her mother will only use linux. She LOATHS windows. Tho she isn't quite a geek, and has no idea how computers work. She just thinks Ubuntu is easier than XP.
Why would the system not have been able to change?
Even with the system changing, they wouldn't have done anything that wouldn't have allowed them to use the same dataset. They can't just wipe all their tickets one day and start anew. Every thing would have to be brought over during the transition.

8 chips x 1GB each / 2 procs = 1gb per proc huh?
They put this thing together using Bistromathics?

ha, even my truck gets 400,000 rods to the hogshead.
Actually that's the unit used car dealers should use.
"Oh you definitely want this new hummer, it gets 262,080 rods per hogshead."
ok, now i'm going home, i just wasted 5 minutes converting mpg's to rph's for no reason what-so-ever.
ban the rich and tax guns? I'm not sure how that would help....

Now if we can just find a way to get the datacenter up to 88mph...

At least according to Entertainment magazine http://cheeju.wordpress.com/2007/07/19/20-richest-women-from-entertainment/

you owe me a keyboard
