I think you could interpret freeing your soul, as being a service. So if they in any way, shape or form want you to pay for that, my guess is that freeing your soul would be a commercial service, thus making the content of the body primarily commercial.
Because private ownership is so much better? The problem with private ownership of the bandwidths will in my opinion be that it hampers innovation by anyone else but those who own the bandwidth. And you will rely on that one vendor for producing anything within the bandwidths they own. This does not pose a problem in itself though, but my guess is that a few big companies will obtain ownership of an unproportionally large portion of the bandwidth(s) to monopolize certain types of services. Remember we're not just talking the transistor radio frequencies but the entire non-military range of frequencies.

Well, i assume that since all body processes are slowed down when hibernating, so is the processes responsible for muscle loss.
also as i read this, the same technology would be usefull for organ-transplants (keeping the donor-organs alive for longer) and as mentioned by someone else, keep people in near-stasis untill their ailment can be treated.
Write your own disclaimer, but i think that the three types of colour-receptors have a range, not a set frequency. The colour they're most often associated with is the colour which causes most electrical activity.
Chinese isn't one language, the ONE language which is most peoples native language is AFAIR spanish. most of the really big nations don't have one language, but a lot of smaller nations speak spanish, including most of south america (brazil excluded, curiously enough;)) also hindi isn't the native language of so many (AAFAIR) but is the or a language which is taught in public schools. That being said the huge population explosion in india might've changed this since i last bothered checking, but it was originally the reason i learned spanish.
You can't actually aim the minigun or flamethrower so those two weapons won't ever hit in the groin. what's far more fun however is having you're bionically enhanced dog bite a kid in the groin
It's a game! I don't have bionically enhanced dog! ...Yet!
other than secretely entangling your qubits with theirs (when they're not looking of course)
spies never die, -left out- just get new devices.
like a portable qubit entangler.
however, the work of programmers who created it could be considered art, the big difference from a painting is that this art is interactive. the work isn't just the one image, it's the whole thing.
Remember that the algorithms that makes it have been created by someone, and probably tweaked a bit too. all this tweaking and coding is not that much different to molding a shape out of clay.
blah, it's not in the page, i bet it's the url, which would mean there's a bug in the url loader. well at least it's just explorer it crashes hope it doesn't do anything but crash it eh:P anyway, i'll go tinfoil myself, and come up with something funny to send to those hotmail users.
Make it a paid for service, so you can't sue for being on the list or to provide money as a cushion against suits?
and hurt in one, if you're a corporate bulk user (not bulk like that) you'll pay, for something that saves your company money.
Well, limited just means that it has limits, not that it's a small device, though many people often regard it as such. however even a beowulf cluster of the meanest computers on the planet would have limited resources, so basically it means any hardware interface to anything.
as far as i know, my tv has had the double click (read bang/smash/strike) to turn on function for a while.
And where does microsoft see a threat now? on security, what do they do, bundle a firewall. Is their firewall good and flexible? no, will it reduce the sale of other firewalls, you bet it will. What microsoft want isn't just their OS they want you to have the os bundled with all the rest of the stuff they make, so you have to do something actively to avoid the microsoft taxes.
oh, and time for a rant: Their's no point in hurting anyone with legal suits, the only real way of dealing with annoying business is hurting their business model. make hiring spammers illegal.
I think this was one of the two reasons Lucas chose to film 4-6 first. more interesting story and less focus on cgi which wasn't developed.
though i've also heard claimed that he wrote the 3 first movies to avoid having holes in his references. I just don't think that it makes sense to divide it into seperate movies then.
two things that do interest me is that the storyline for all 9 movies/stories were available before he started preparing for 1-3. And the rumour that 7 and 8 will be tv-series while 9 is what starwars galaxies is supposed to evolve into. anyone know anything about that??
The problem in this arises because humans tend to notice some charateristics before others. F.ex. a noticibly different nose will cause a human to think that two people cant possibly look alike, while the recognition (as i saw it used on vg.no) treats all vectors equally. Another example is the effect that hair falling differently counts for many points because of the many edges involved in hair (based on my observation of the site).
Anyway, i'm not on their list of celebrities, so i won't say anything positive about it;)
i mean we also have the Mind juggling monkeys.
what i'd really like is a tv that turned down the volume slowly, and then turned off after i fall asleep.
different styles in cheat development.
I mean, you can find the classic cheats, and they'll be busted. But if you're a good player, you'll only play with cheats if they're custom-made.
and custom made means variation from one region to another.
well, i guess i've just been playing that too much now.. happy natural selection:)
Ever tried picking up a newspaper, well if you understand the language, you start reading it as soon as you see it.
There even is order to how the brain will scan the frontpage, thus a standard of where to begin.
You don't have to pinch your arm, or pull your nose (which can have nasty sideeffects).
If you give it to a parent or grandparent you will often hear autoplay kicking in, especially if you're a kid.
Heck, even stone age cave paintings; i bet that if you saw someones painting while it was still wet, and the creator was nearby. It wouldn't take any action on your part to get him to tell the tale of how he slew the mammoth.

actually, it's the two first letters of each word in "leg godt" which means play well.
a side note is that in danish there's seperate words for playing competatively and non-competatively, leg is the noncompetative version.

i'm not sorry, it HAD to come!
Happy B-Day!
