"Robert Scoble, weblogger extraordinaire, recently said, "I want to see more software companies, not fewer." I heartily agree." I'm guessing Bill Gates isn't the author here.
Communist propaganda?
1) China's not communist anymore. More socialist. People do have more economic freedoms now.
2) There's no propaganda. There is censoring though.
Wasn't this blatantly obvious? No matter how technologically progressive a society is, you can't keep having an exponential growth for the amount of whatchamacallits on a thisorthat.
Time travel is possible. Didn't a bunch of scientists move a particle of matter a wee bit in time? Haven't scientists measured that if you travel on an airplane, you move in time a wee bit too (since you've traveled at a high speed)?
If I remember correctly, there's been at least a couple of articles discussing Earth-like planets already. So who's keeping an archive on these? And should they really generate anything besides human interest news? Much of the planets in our solar system still has not been explored thoroughly.
Imagine the BSOD in 3D. Those hexadecimals scrolling past you. Those meaningless application names whooshing over your head. Those stupid, redundant instructions dancing merrily in front of your eyes.
You can't compare two evils, pr0n and violence. They should both be locked up to minors, or minors should be taught at an early age about these things. As for the long-term effects of violence, I do think that if a kid spends 4ish hours every day shooting people for a couple of years, there will be long term effects since it's just another form of brainwashing. Sure, kids can still get these from other people, but it's better to fight a tough battle than to not fight at all.
I thought the Earth was at the center of the universe and all celestial bodies orbited around it.
Gulag is the sound my sink makes when water is draining. *rimshot*

Hey, are these raisins? *munch*
The snowmen overtook it and ran amok, apparently.
More food for me.

Two things wrong with the website: 1) It's using HTML 2.0 2) Wrong MIME type
...other books by Dan Brown, and the Artemis Fowl trilogy.
Yep. Same here. I like how the book forces "history shock" upon the reader until you watch the ABC special on it.
We all know LOTR is a large sexual and Hitler reference.
Eragon, Harry Potter, Digital Fortress, Short History of Nearly Everything.
The pains of being popular.
And how do we know this isn't overblown just like Y2K?
CSN... Fair and Balanced.
I noticed one. Oh, what was it? Uh....oh, that's right! The fact that it was 3 hours and 22 minutes.
But does it pop or sparkle?
Makes it all the more fun, I guess.
