    Isn't the whole idea of DRM that you (who wants to access the protected data) have the key, but you can't "see" it? It's pretty hard to keep encrypted data safe when you're giving possible attackers both the data and the key, which is exactly what you're doing with Open DRM. It's easy: just insert a 'println(drmKey)' somewhere =)

    I know your pain. I've worked at an ISP helpdesk for almost a year, and my average time per call was consistently a minute over the target average, often spending up to half an hour with a single customer.
    What many of my coworkers would do was listen to the caller explaining their problem, then offering one thing they could try and told them to "just call back if it still doesn't work" (which of course it usually didn't, making the customer wait another 10 minutes in the queue). I never hung up until the problem was solved.
    Never got reprimanded for it though, because the boss knew I at least did my job well.

    That's very interesting. I tried finding some tutorials on XMLHttpRequest, but couldn't find anything that doesn't use XML. For a little project i'd like the object, but I don't want to do the XML parsing. Do you have anything of yours online that I could check out to see how you do it, or a guide on how to do it?

    That only goes to show that for us, inherited diseases and stupidity are no longer a measure of 'fitness': stupid people with an inherited disease can still produce offspring. It doesn't matter that that might not be the direction we'd like the evolution of the human race to take.
