    I think the paradigm is more akin to using the onscreen keyboard with a mouse... how is it different than adding a SEPARATE keyboard *except in the case of a laptop of course*

    Don't know where you have been... but AOL hasn't been a part of Time Warner in over 3 years... In 2000, AOL and Time Warner merged under the name AOL Time Warner. The merger was not fruitful and on May 28, 2009, Time Warner announced that it would spin off AOL into a separate public company. The spinoff occurred on December 9, 2009,[11] ending the eight-year relationship between the two companies.

    This is why I run my VPN enabled connection in a VM, to use for things not to be monitored. My main connection is free for low latency.

    You are obviously not familiar with Burma Shave, its a 1950s thing. There were signs on the road, each sign had a single line, ending with "Burma Shave". It was not supposed to be fine prose. I think they covered it in the pilot episode of Quantum Leap.

    you forget the subset of the population who does not fundamentally understand how to use google. Step 1. Go to google.com Step 2. Search for Yahoo. Step 3. Click on yahoo. Step 4. Search for gmail.

    if MS has a good dock for this (they dont , at least they haven't announced it) that will turn it into an Ultrabook, maybe with an extra battery built in etc. it could be viable as a platform, however they have announced scant accessories for either machine as far as I know.

    I still use my MSI Wind u100 as a tolerable OSX (10.6.8) machine. Right now it is used as a print/scan server and I take it with me on occasion.
