they're talking about massive flash memory.......as like 10gigs worth....actually it alredy exists for commerical use. its called PuRAM...heh but the 5 gig model is still upwards of 5 grand so i hope prices come down a lot before they release this beast. =)
yeah i just moved to the middle of nowhere, maine....i thought i was gonna be screwed and have to use 56k. but as it turns out theres this little shed down the road that says verizon on the side. its kind of funny that the CO for my entire area is just a little shed but guess what it was wired for dsl! muahahahahahhahahahahaaha

it would probably be cheaper to run phat pipes at the same time as the power in the long run....i mean the repair costs for this half assed system would probably skyrocket...especially in a 3rd world country where they can't always use the higher grade materials for the job. but who cares anyway they dont have computar machines in teh 3rd wrold....heh
we need the fifth element to stop a huge asteroid 67 miles from impact so we can use it as an anchor for our space elevator.quick tell her you love her......heh

to notice they had a leak. (in case you dont know they run microsoft windows on ISS) probably ist the first time windows almost killed someone.......lol

ohh get off it theres only an elite core of people that can get anything they want for free...programmers are in no danger of losing monies over it. besides its just for personal use anyway. you people make most of your money off enterprise licensing and i havent heard of a major corp. use pirated software for a long time. arrrrrr

and another thing.....i get this all the time " use linux you can get free apps" well if you have even half a brain you dont have to pay for windows apps either. i think the last app i actually bought was my copy of windows 95...

You linux types really dont give windows enough credit...if software would have remained free the way you like it, no one would have had to money to create an operating system easy enough for the masses to use. eg there would have been no boom in personal computing, hardware manufactures would have had no reason to devolpe new technologies at the rate they do today, it would still cost me 500 beucks for a megabyte of ram, i would have nothing near the quality of applications i had today...the cascade effect goes on and what is your arguement anyway! install linux and i wount have to format my hard drive a few times a year hah i could easily do that in the time i would save not having to attempt to install a linux app or find one that suits my needs for that matter. dont get me wrong linux does have its place...it works great as a file server or a web server or a database where extreme reliabality is an issue. But misrosoft isnt going anywhere so get used to it.
