Well your Traffic Nav won't work. I think it's a great concept and a nice marketing ploy for Acura and their RL, but their markets are too limited right now.
Link to DirecTv's future plans, including MPEG-4 roll out.. I still bought one of the HD Tivo's last month because I get my locals Free OTA and didn't want to wait a year to take advantage of HD on my TV. The box is awesome, the only thing I miss is the HMO that was available via hacking in software 6.2 on the SD DirecTivo's.
Anyone else notice that the optical drive specs went from an 8X DL to a 4X SL? Think that's a typo or a "feature"? I was really looking forward to this update and while that won't kill the deal, I don't know why there would be a regression.

How is it worse than Microsoft? They have better customer service ratings then cable companies. Their equipment you have to buy is covered by a mail in rebate so there is no rental equipment cost. The only thing they have that cable doesn't is a one year contract.
"We have plenty of features that our customers don't use." Isn't the point of FireFox to have as little features as possible. I don't see how this guys argument makes any sense. The only "feature" that FireFox has that is above a bared bones browser is tabbed browsing and that's not really bloatware.
There are independent tests that have verified that the optics are superior in Oakley sunglasses which is quite remarkable for using such a large wrap. A quick compairson is located HERE and the full test results can be downloaded (PDF) HERE. Private Pilot is the independent testing company.
I've been using my Sanyo VM-4500 phone with a USB cable to my powerbook to connect to Sprint's "Vision" service. Future Dial has been offering this for awhile.
I completely agree with you on the problems with the DirecTV TiVo. When you compare the guide speed to one of the new free RCA boxes in the other room it is almost embarrassing. However, the ability to record two shows simultaneously and create DVDs of my favorite shows without commercials (thanks TyTool) makes it almost impossible to live without my TiVo. If they fix the speed of the UI I will only be a happier customer.
Area 51 is real and is used everyday. There are planes that take off everyday from McCarran Airport in Las Vegas bringing employees to Groom Lake.
"Another area of interest is the EG&G terminal on the Northwest corner of McCarran International Airport. Every weekday morning, about 500 people arrive at the guarded terminal with one destination, Groom Lake. When I was in Las Vegas observing the activity of the EG&G terminal, I counted six EG&G owned 737-200s. The aircraft are easily identifiable; they are white with a red strip running the total length of the plane. They fly out to Groom Lake about every half hour in the morning but things slow down in the afternoon with about two to three aircraft always sitting outside. Starting in the late afternoon (I noticed one coming in at 2:30 PM), the 737s start coming back to Las Vegas. At about 6:00, all of the aircraft (6 of which I counted, there could be more) were back to the EG&G facility for the night. Below are the photos that I took when I was out to Groom Lake and observing the EG&G terminal."

Also for the "new" Area 51, Popular Mechanics had an article a long time ago that is located here.
I wonder what it's like in B.F.E., USA?).

Ever been to a casino, people holding Black or Purple chips don't lose them unless they're drunk. They might lose their shirt but not winnings.
Thanks for the mirror. If I had mod points I'd give them to you.
How about the bus speed? That is one huge reason to get rid of the G4. 167mhz on 1.67 ghz g4 vs. 800mhz on 1.6ghz g5.

What do you call the NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL ??? I know it's not in the iMac but that is one of the newest graphics cards on the market.

What about wireless? It says on the site that they have 802.11g implemented across the campus.
