SO they are helping the distributors of those infected emails saying the fbi/cia logged your address now, eh? And here i thought they were going legit.....
hehe, get someone to go there then they get one of those infected emails and i bet you get an infection rate close to triple digits;)
hehe, the one that got me was last night searching for an envelope sealer. Half the first page results were for sites that search for items one of which returned a result for another site that searches for items.....
If i am searching google i probably do NOT want to look for a search site...if i do i can type the word SEARCH in the damn box if i want someone else to search for it. Half the ads were the same, noone had anything for sale they just want to find it for me:(
Yes, it took several tries to even get that far i think. mailing machine sealer got more heat sealers and strapping amchines than mailing stuff:(
BTW anyone know of a envelope sealer between $40 and $600:(
It is really only gonna be M and AO which is very few. Everything else appears to be exempted.
So if it is so bad to sell a game for 18 year-olds to a 17 year-old, why is it ok to sell a game for 13 year-olds to 12 year-olds or 9 year-olds ??
Love the sexual definitions using community standards. It seems to include: "patently offensive to minors" Hell, there ain't no sexual content that most minors would find offensive;)
Anyways, it won;t go far nor would it stay there long if it does.
Have you shopped for DVDs lately? The majority (or damned close) are NOT RATED now. If you at a shop you can usually see the movies original rating on the back cover in the credits but the other material is unrated. The latest trend seems to be ADVERTISING the fact that the dvd is not rated.
Seems to be ok for movies as is, how are games that much different? Don't let the kids buy games/movies you don't like:) I see no problem with an obvious XXX style tier but the others are so randomly defined i cant see hard restrictions on them. I also see very few games that would hit that level.
Most states make you pass driver's ed if you're under 18. Cant take the test until classes are done. In my case, I was legal to FLY by myself (solo at 16) before i could drive myself to the airport cause Driver's Ed classes didnt end until a few months after my birthday:) If school does not offer a cheap class (that has room) you have to pay for a private one, not always a high priority, at least until you have the $:)
Anyways, great idea for him. The uniqueness was the catch tho, not a repeatable business model. ALthough after the 1st $911k i doubt i would care:) Like the lottery a few get lucky in business that really has no justification, Pet Rocks anyone?;)
Yup, i have an old Master Lock like that. Typical dial combo lock but with a little keyhole in back. Certainly off a school locker of some sort 20+ years ago.
Thats only about half the effect as going to a (good) go-kart track. I had THINK about driving my soft sprung Explorer home after buzzing around a warehouse in 40mph go-kart:) An hour there seems to produce an alternate driving reality, but damn its fun:) Video games (yes i have a full-size sit-down race seat set-up) don't come close. A movie? you're just looking for an excuse;)
Nonetheless the feeling is there and a brief period to catch ones breath and brains would be good idea. Using the same wheel and pedals could add to it a fair amount.
Everyone laughs at my pitiful 'slow' DSL line until they game on it. While no SLA, I simply didnt follow along with Qwest in upgrading to a 'faster' line. (slow=640k, faster=1500+) That upgrade usually tripled the ping times for people. I wish we had a choice. I couldnt get this setup now if i wanted, it is a one-way upgrade from 'obsolete tech'. Mostly i game or surf, neither requires vast amounts of bandwidth but responds well to lower ping times:)
I prefer a faster line to a faster download. I just wish one had the choice nowdays. 19ms pings to server 300 miles away , bet your fast 5M+ connect doesnt get there anywhere near that fast...
FYI, Qwest lines not ISP. Old non-interleaved CAP DSL line.
Because noone pays the use tax in place of the sales tax like they are supposed to. Noone actually being something between noone and some insignificant percent.
hmm, i specifically set up a set of our computers with bigfoot drives. The workstations generally only used it to boot and ran off the server so speed wasnt much of an issue. Never saw a problem with bad sectors. I found the hard drive itself virtually indestructable. The circuit boards could fail but it takes like 60 sec to swap out the board on those. Still running several 4G ones in fact.
Nowadays i have no clue who is good for ANY component:(
The keyboard i miss is the one from our old Wang minicomputer.
I do a lot of numbers and the enter key for the right thumb on the keypad was awesome for numerical entry. (where the arrow keys are now) It was in a big enough gap that either enter key was easily used during normal typing too.
Pretty sure it would be the other way around, 10-key calculators were around before touch-tone phones no?
Either way I would still like to strangle someone over it, especially with all the companies that want you to enter numerical data on the phone pad now:(
"conspiring to traffic in a technology used to circumvent a copyright protection system and conspiring to commit criminal copyright infringement"
Is this one of those cases where conspiring to do something is as bad or worse than doing it?
If they can prove conspirasy in this case it certainly seems they could prove the act itself. Taking the money and handing over a disk with 77 games on it sounds a little past conspiring.
They sold the agent a bunch of pirated games, duh.
Or maybe the Mod was $265 and the pirated games were free so no one got hurt, right? There is no way you could say it was for convenance by this point.
Now if i could figure out why they can advertised remote car starters in a town that gives you ticket for leaving a running car unattended. How on earth is that not promoting an illegal activity?
I had that problem too, i wanted to take someone to see it but it was no where to be found by then. If you dont hammer the box office the first week nowdays you're history. Even with an order of magnatude more screens than the good old days, they dont last any longer than they used to:(
It's tough to sell your friends on a movie thats gone by the time you convince anyone to see it.
Despite Universal best efforts, i think i only saw one or two trailers for it. And they werent really very compelling trailers at that:(

Nice to know i am not the last one left without all that....
:)
Can't afford em after sending all my money to those MMORPG companies
Oh well, win some lose some hehe
How about?
water tap = that tap is water
beer tap = this tap is beer
That tap is yours, this tap is mine

Easy, take off the robot.txt file and let someone else do it ;)
Ok, it tells me to wait but not HOW LONG to wait....la dee da de da........
"When did lockheed martin get into the document management business?"
Don't know. You should email the White House and ask.

What MPAA ratings?

Here's one for ya...
Why is installing the lights in the basement more constructive? Is it dangerously dark there? What is the basement used for that it needs those?
Just a thought
You forgot one.

You should have stuck with the diary perhaps
Thank you I am not alone hehe

Everyone gets paid for running on a treadmill to power the robots obviously.
not to mention there is nothing there to discuss...
MS is satisfied
Thats a story? or just a lead so we can make bad Balmer and MS jokes?!?
And what is with: "From the article" ?!?!?
The only thing missing was a paragraph from Gooogle saying they didnt want to say anything !
No wonder ppl don't read the articles if they are 90% copied when you do go to read em.
Because noone pays the use tax in place of the sales tax like they are supposed to. Noone actually being something between noone and some insignificant percent.
But why the F*** did they glue them to the floor before they left???
hehe in that case you should be making MS and friends quite happy :)
