If I went back in time to kill my father, then I wouldn't have been born. Then who would've grown up to kill my father? Nobody. Since nobody killed my father, I would be born. It's an endless loop.
The only real question is "Does the universe explode because of the endless loop?"
and I've never ran into this problem, but I only use Walgreens since their photo lab is open 24/7. It's better to use a smaller shop like Walgreens so the people there will recognize you, thus avoiding this problem more often than not.
And on a side note, screw Wal-Mart.
Have you seen the quality of these "leaked" movies? Most of the time I agree that the person deserves to be thrown in jail because I can't read Chinese subtitles in these movies and it really bothers me.
TFA said that it was 10,000 trillion trillion trillion watts... how powerful is that compared to the Hiroshima bomb? Seriously.
It just doesn't sound all that powerful when it's measured in the same units as my microwave.
I've been scavenging around newsgroups for a _decade_ now. They've only seem to have gotten bigger. Granted I pay for mine now, I don't see them ever going away.
Since they're all pissed off about people distributing music, movies, and software... what about the leeches that turn off their "shared" folders and don't allow people to receive files from them? If someone on kazaa or limewire has all of their shared folders disabled, do they get the same punishment as those who openly share thousands of files?
What if someone that works at the ISP gets pissed at their boss and throws a glass of water on a server rack? Or if someone breaks into the system? Not only would people not be able to get online, but a *lot* of personal sensitive data could be lost forever. Is that a gamble we really want to take?
Let's face it, for personal uses, most people don't need more than a 20GB harddrive for installing an OS, word processor, browser, etc. When will the MPAA/RIAA start going after Western Digital and Maxtor for creating 300GB hard drives where they specifically target the people that want to store massive amounts of music and video???

This page on Western Digital's site says that their products are great for file servers.

This page on Best Buy's site advertises an external Maxtor harddrive that reads as follows:
"Holds up to 21 hours of DV video, 230,000 digital photos (JPEG-normal) or 5,000 hours of high-quality MP3 digital music"
Face it, how many people are going to use this kind of storage for legal personal use? What about these USB pendrives and DVD+/-RW drives?
...but if he was charged for violating the CAN-SPAM Act and didn't, shouldn't he be cleared of the charge regardless of any other illegal activities that he may have been involved in? They can always charge him with the other crimes later.
In the great state of South Carolina it's illegal to have a tv/video screen in direct line of sight from the driver seat of a vehicle. Does this mean they're finally gonna outlaw talking on cellphones while driving? I'll keep my fingers crossed!
This could've happened on any platform, not just Windows. I know I've accidentally done some *stupid* things while trying to upgrade Linux and *BSD boxes that have rendered them near useless.
But how much money will these places have to spend to upgrade PCs every time a new game with higher requirements come out? Upgrading 300 AlienWare PCs is going to be expensive. Buying new $500 video cards for 300 PCs every 10 months is going to hurt them unless they get an insane amount of business.

bride.ru is still up and running so slashdotters can still find wives! *ducks*
Mind the old 64bit system?
How long until we see Farraday Wallets on thinkgeek.com that'll keep people from stealing your information on this RFID mark of the beast?
computers monitor yo.... wait a minute.
what a president can do during his second term since he doesn't have to worry about losing the next election?

Does anyone know how many bootlegs I'd have to sell at the flea market to pay off a $150,000 fine!?!

So if they wear tin-foil hats while wearing one of these devices, will they become invisible to the system too?

"When he said he was hung like a horse, I didn't think he meant it literally!"
A beowulf cluster of people wearing similar sunglasses... Ok, that even creeps me out.
Bruce Willis did this in "The Jackal" with a minivan ,and it didn't work out too well for him. He still was found. He still died.

So how many bugs would I have to scrape off of my windshield for a full tank/fuel cell for my car?
At the risk of being modded down... WHY!?! Why do they need more money to say that they don't make money!?!
