More Natalie Portman, (a gold bikini needs a prequel equal).
R2 should be a brand new model, already an old droid, give me a break.
No midichlorians.
No kids, (no kids were in the first ones).
Make Skywalker a rebellious late teen or young adult, (the new / old Han Solo)
Skywalker loved his mother, a single mother, never knew his father, mother doesn't talk about dad, (leave it a mystery).
Can move stuff and use the force but does know how or why, (uneducated on the Force), still make him the most connected to the force and powerful but don't measure it with midichlorians.
Make an obvious turning point to the darkside, (2 movies to do this was crap, once his mother died he should have blamed the Jedi for not letting him save her and kicked ass).
Have Padme die because of child birth, not of a broken heart, (have her fleeing from a battle, go into labor due to the stress, give birth, die and Yoda and Obi Wan hides the kids).
Make Leia older than Luke, (the shock factor), which also explains why Leia remembers mom but Luke doesn't.
Darth Maul should have be in till at least the second movie.
Too bad that the Star Wars universe is now so tarnished with JarJar, midichlorians and pre-school Jedi. The movies really fell short of what it could have been.
"4, What will happen to me after I die?
What happens to a cat's sight after it dies? It stops. What does your consciousness do when you die? It stops. Brain processes stop. Seen through your own eyes, your identity is in your brain. Thus, it stops at death.
Apart from that, left to itself, your body will rot and eventually be eaten by various necrophages."
You're forgetting that matter / energy cannot be create nor destroyed only change in state. "It stops" is not a valid scientific reason. Yes, the matter that we are composed of not longer functions as a living beings body. It starts decomposing. However the energy that our mind makes up cannot be explained away as saying "it stops", energy has to go somewhere. In fact the change in state that the energy, (be it synapses firing in the brain or pure thought), can be taken as a the journey to Heaven or to be reincarnated, (after all what are we really but recycled matter and energy from what we eat and drink), which also points out a deficiency of answers to #1.
Not meant to offend but wanted to and my $0.02CAD.
4.7.X was the best of it's time
6 was crap -- Couldn't even uninstall it without messing up the Windows system.
7 was less crap but the damage was already done and was still far worse than 4.7.X -- Didn't even bother giving it a fair shake... it was still worse than 4.7.X.
It was only a few years ago where Firefox was able to climb out of the hole Netscape dug and become the recommended browser by geeks again.
Sounds like you'll need to upgrade your spleen to an upgraded plastic one... the blood would be free but the spleen is extra.
On a more serious note, red blood cells do break down naturally and absorbed into the body... the plastic would have problems doing this... I expect long term effects would surely be a problem...IANAD... maybe you'd have to go in for an annual blood change / oil change.
a seven year old boy was pounding a kitten to death with a wrench. Please describe in terms of "They really can't do stuff wrong"
I will agree that a seven year old child can do wrong, usually taking something that isn't theirs, hitting someone when they don't get what they want or lying. It's all a part of being a child. However, it's usually the parents to blame where the child will exert such violet behavior, I would say this is because it's one or the combination of the following, (child molestation, watching extremely violent movies, not being taught the value of life, extreme neglect of the parents in the child's activities...) all of which are based off of life rights and wrongs.
That compared with, "downloading music with a few clicks of the mouse will land you in jail with no warning", yeah, something isn't right here.
Megatron was a gun... this was a Toaster! Not a walkman, not a microscope, not a cassette, a Toaster!!! Could be some next generation Transformer I would guess... the question is if the symbol is of autobot or deceptacon?!? We'll need higher resolution images, ASAP!
Here is a list of CD I find useful for all occassions, (of course keep them up to date):
0. USB key with DSL and required applications, (putty, antivirus, vim, 7zip, adaware, Openoffice...) not all computers can boot USBs
1. Knoppix (has nearly all tools, but slow on older systems.
2. Slax (Quick and fast but not all utils available).
3. DSL (Quicker and faster but not all utils available).
4. Ubuntu (x86)
5. Kubuntu
6. Ubuntu (AMD)
7. Ubuntu (PPC)
8. Ubuntu 5.10 - Server Installation (Light minimal installation.
9. GeexBox - To play DVDs, VCDs...
10. IP-Cop - For the firewall
11. Blank CD - for backup.
12. CD with putty, antivirus, vim, 7zip, adaware, Openoffice...
Pick and replace to your liking. With other Distros you like. You'll need another folder for Windows and related discs.
Emerill "Bang! Creatures everywhere... don't worry about getting some in the lakes and rivers, only enriches things later...okay folks now stay tuned, after the commercial we'll whip up Man in less that 24 hours."
In Genesis, it states that Heaven and Earth were created along with everything else in 7 days... from that you have Adam and Eve... from that you can trace appx. each generation, including how long certain people lived. That can be traced to the creation to the flood to the house of David to Jesus... and from there you have well documented 2000 years. Which adds up to about 6000 years.
So now we have an idea on how to make the money:
Step 1: Find source of stock data.
Step 2: Pipe the data into charts.
Step 3: ??? - Make BS comments on the data. (It's currently working for other investors).
Step 4: Profit.
Having my son beat me at most games less than 5 years old.
Stepping on or scratching one of my PS games.
High school football, undefeated season and loosing the city championship football game, (dude... never want to see that many guys cry ever again).

Nintendo stopped working on most games due to bad contacts with the game.
Buying X-Wing and not being able to play it on my 286.
Going to the arcade and not allowed to play Super Mario, because my parents didn't have any change and didn't want to waste money or time.

Chess for Kids?
·
· Score: 1
Get a http://yahoo.com/Yahoo account and access the games... after playing a few people you start to understand how to play. There are rooms for beginners. The great thing about chess is that it can be played by all ages and does not need a lot of skill to have a good game.
I taught my son at 5 and he had concentrated better because of it. The great thing was seeing him think 2 - 3 moves ahead. Granted I give him and initial advantage of removing my rooks queen and a knight at first but that also allows me to improve my game. My son is now 11 and he does better in school and he takes time to plan ahead. Overall a much more cleaner thought process.
On a personal note... my son has had night terrors, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_terror in the past, and during an episode he would not know where he was, what he was doing or why he was so upset. One time I took out the chess board and we started playing... his ability to focus and concentrate on the game help ease him out of his terror.
It's not as simple as that. Most companies should run their systems with the mentality that everyone is out to get them. The goes double for bigger companies. Backups and security should be of great importance. Employees should not be given access to things that they should not have access to, especially if their activities are questionable. Passwords that that person had access to should be changed and memos should be issued informing everyone that person is no longer with the company. If access was gained through someone elses account that person must be disaplined. If there are known flaws in the system, fixing those flaws should be put as high priority. Never allow such a person to have a high level of access and never allow such a person to be the only person with root. Occassional check ups on what activities are going on and checking logs should be done.
The company should take some responsability to this as well, after all if the person has a history of violence, criminal activity and overall bad references, why the hell would the company hire them and think they would think about the best interest of the company?
There are other ways to save money on electricity and hardware.
The top of the line video card with additional cooling fans wouldn't be needed, I mean most of the time the monitor SHOULD be off so get the standard video card.
Many times I see people getting all the bells and whistles with a server purchase. Don't with servers just get what is needed. Sound cards and such.
Lower the processing power, if possible don't use X, intense screensavers and have the monitor off. I can't believe how many times I've walked into a server room with all the servers monitors on and running some dumbassed screensaver or burning text to the monitor.
If everything is done remotely, disconnect the monitor and any other devices that arn't required. The draw a small amount of current. Even the CDROM and floppy drive can be removed to aviod draining additional power. Turn speakers off too.
Keep the computer well ventelated. I'll also seen "IT guys" put paper on to a monitor, have the computer stuffed under a desk where very little air can get in through the back. The higher the heat to more it will cost you.
When there is no one in the room turn the lights off. The lights will also cotribute to the the power usage and could heat up the room causing the computers to heat up also, drawing a slight amount more power.
Umm... this is only with MS products. Most OSS software can be complied and ran on a 486. MS however adds a lot of overhead on top of what a server needs. A standard web server that is current would require at least 500MHz processor with 256Mb RAM and almost 2Gb of HDD space, (if memory recalls correctly.) Installing the newest debian, BSD, Gentoo or Slack without X, (since this is optional on these systems and a requirment for Windows,) could run on a 486, 32Mb RAM, (more is better,) and about 300Mb of HDD space.
Of course you can install an older version of Windows to save on hardware requirements but you end up sacrificing security updates. Why do that?
I was a computer support guy for the local Univerisity and I've had my share of odd things coming out of keyboards. The scariest and most common things that I found was dead skin and finger nails. People would type on a keyboard and notice that a nail is broken or a piece of skin was hanging off their fingers and peel it off and over the keyboard.
Other common things I've found where huge peices of bread crumbs, chip crumbs and cookie crumbs.
Over all my experience with keyboards is here is the best peice of advice I can think of NEVER SHAKE A KEYBOARD UP SIDE DOWN OVER YOUR HEAD!!!
What I want is for all the major loose ends to be tied. That's right! I want to see how E.T. knew Yoda in the E.T. movie, (the scene where E.T. saw a boy dressed as Yoda on halloween and started following him saying "Home, home...").
Having a race of E.T.s in the war with lightsabres led by Yoda would be awesome. The E.T. race is strong with the force and they need to be in at least one of the Star Wars movies.
Too bad that the Star Wars universe is now so tarnished with JarJar, midichlorians and pre-school Jedi. The movies really fell short of what it could have been.
