Microsoft brand mice. (Most likely made by someone else) has a really neat feature... The scroll mouse feels like jelly, it doesn't "hard click" when scrolling it's really smooth. I think that's actually kinda nifty.
I haven't used IE for several years. Is this good? I would hope they would build in RSS support so it can compete with Tiger's Safari. Oh wait... Didn't Microsoft say they aren't making a Mac IE?
They already have this. They've had it. Doesn't anyone ever watch Monster House? They used these on a couple projects. I don't know if it's the same design, but it's basically a tube, all reflective polished stainless steel on the inside of the tube with bubbles on either end of the tube (Tube goes through wall),
I guess I don't understand what's the point in this article other than "informational". We have optical fiber cable in my office, it can't be any thicker than about 2 mm's.
I really appreciate the fact that people are generating new technologies, to make things thinner, however, this is where stuff should be going, not groundbreaking news.
Seems like all the hackers are struggling now-a-days. There are no "good" exploits coming out anymore. No directory Unicode transversals.. No Code Red, No Nimda. Not even SQL Slammer...
We haven't had a good exploit/0day in how long? Since the Webdav exploit? Or the RPC DCOM? Now we have to use Google, phishing techniques, and URL redirection. We are scraping the bottom of the barrell apparently.
Let's do this right...
Microsoft Windows XP Professional w/ Current Service Pack, full install (That's a direct comparison to Mac OSX -- excluding functionality and use... $269.99
OS X Tiger -- 129.99
So the government has finally figured out a way to track us all no matter where we go, behind any amount of device, no matter what. AFAIK, this is already being done using different methods, (read: not clock skew)
Extremely interesting, and logical. "Microscopic" differences in hardware clock timing. One must wonder if more can be thought of. Chipset timings in nic cards... quantum tcp theory...
Excellent points. I agree with your OSX assessment. I've been using OS X for about a year now, finding the most efficent. (I use Linux as my desktop @ work, and my lappy at work is 2K)
However, I much prefer my home OS.
Does it count if you've devoted at least 16 hours (two straight work days) listening to ring tones, and unsuccessfully finding a "free" ringtone website?
I agree. and furthermore.. Can there be a statute of limitations on collecting money for music? Say anything over 10 years can be at a discounted or totally free price? like.10 cents. All the good music was produced more than 5-6 years ago anyway. (IMO)

For those of you that use Snort as an Intrustion Detection System, there are some excellent rules that will detect botnets located at BleedingSnort
Look for IRC rules that are non-standard ports. Very easy to run.
