    In terms of MythTV, I haven't really attempted. With the newer C3 CPU (http://www.silentpcreview.com/article609-page1.ht ml), it might be possible. The CPU does not have great deal of horsepower, but it might have enough for MythTV. Their forums might be a big help if you looking for a silent solution for a MythTV system.

    By following this guide, http://www.silentpcreview.com/article16-page1.html , I have built two machines identical to their setup and modded my power supply cpu with a low rpm fan. These machines have run solid for almost 4 years, until one of my motherboards crapped out. They are quietest piece of hardware I have owned since I sleep right next to them.

    Gives adware and spyware more resources to consume without effecting the client's speed. Only when the client notices a slowdown in the computer, adware and spyware detectors will be installed. More power does not help the knowledgebase.

    If you can multitask efficiently and zone out your music, your productivity will increase. It takes me longer to write a paper on the computer since I seem to get distracted quite often, but also I am not as stressful about my homework. I bet if the study did a stress test after doing homework while using the computer and without using the computer, there will be big variation.

    Their tools are the best. If anyone needs to deal with the abundant of spyware and junk out there, get these tools immediately. Process Explorer is as powerful as task manager + msinfo32 combined. Autorun much more powerful than msconfig. Tcpview is better than the netstat. Filemon and regmon are neat tool if you can read fast enough lol (there is a pause event option).
