    On a sidenot, I read somewhere that if Jupiter was just 1% larger is would have been able to initiate fusion on it's own and this would have been a binary star system. Of course that would not have bode well for the object between it and Sol.

    The new printers on the Sequoia machines worked. Well worked well enough. I work as a ROV'er for my county's registar of voters, and we had 5 out of 25 printers jam in the 4 precincts I covered. Replacing them was as simple as turning the machines off and replacing the printer, which used a lpt cable. The machines run linux on AMD Geode 300 MHz procs with 64 megs of ram.

    Yeah the stores call it shrinkage. When my brother in-law worked for office max, they had more cameras pointed at employee areas (loading dock, store rooms, lockers, etc...) than at customer areas.

    wow way to read dipshit. I never said adobe had to be running on every desktop. If you would stop thinking like a dumbass for a minute and search for the DOZENS of pdf viewers, you would realise not every desktop would need it. Yes, the guy scanning them into the server would need it, and yes who ever maintains the info would need it, but the rest just need a viewer.
