The WEP key is the same for the whole wireless network, though, which means that if you change it 3 hours after one person's purchase, it might only be 5 minutes since someone else's purchase.
That's a good point, and I guess I overlooked it because I never really got into Pokemon. I do strongly suspect, though, that if Pokemon had been around about 15 years ago I would've been all over it.
Did I forget to flash my Nintendo Fan Club (remember that? way back in the Zelda 2 days?) card, or what? I wasn't saying the games were bad. On the contrary, I was saying that Nintendo has franchises that are so well liked that it's hard for them to go wrong. There are a lot of people out there who will buy a Nintendo console for one of the franchise games, and then go on to explore stuff like Animal Crossing or Pikmin. That's the point I was making.
It's Nintendo. The exact amount of amazing required for them to have a successful console is: 1. Mario Revolution 2. Zelda Revolution 3. Pokemon Revolution
The sports things go even further. According to some of them, you can't even comment on the game without their permission. "You see the game this weekend, Joe?" "Sorry, Bob, I can't tell you that."
I meant bug in a larger sense that would encompass hardware problems and shortcomings; not just specific problems with software.
Since you mention it, though, I've found a handful of small bugs during the three months I've been playing. Nothing show stopping, but there are quests with disappearing NPCs and such.
I think what he meant was that the US beta period should have been longer, so that the bugs would have been more ironed out before any of the retail releases, and then the rest could go smoothly.
Um, aren't most of those just StyleXP themes that include the word "Longhorn"? I don't really think kurdpc.com or overclockers.com are going to have authentic screen shots.
Well, I wasn't suggesting you get it blown up to poster size to hang on your wall. I just think you'd have to really hate Microsoft to put that picture in the same league as goatse.
Oh how I wish that was a false statment...I mean, it even goes along with the new goatse.
First, for the people too terrified to follow that link, it is safe for work and will not burn your retinas like the original goatse. Second, those pictures aren't actually for Teen Beat, as claimed, but were promotional, in some weird alternate reality where that kind of thing could help promote your product.
Um, the game came out in late November, they gave those of us that bought it at the beginning a few free days and then we were billed once in late December, and we're due for another one in a week or so. Some of us actually are paying already (but I have no lag and no wait lines, so I'm not complaining).
Agreed, and it's not like camping out like this is necessary even if there was grounds for it. I saw the first two prequels on opening night, and you know how long I waited in line? About ten minutes.
An analog stick can tell both in which direction it is being pushed and also how far it is being pushed that way. You'll recall how cool it was to be able to make Mario walk by pushing it a little and run by pushing it even more. You didn't have that on your 2600.

See, that's what a semester of Arabic and a few minutes with an automatic translator couldn't do for me. Thanks.
Does VB6 not work, all of a sudden?
Yeah, and Donkey Kong Country Revolution, Kirby Revolution, Mario Kart Revolution, etc.
The point was just that Nintendo has an awful lot of well-liked franchises, and those must drive a pretty big number of console purchases.

Crap, now we have to show ID here, too?
Where are you buying storage that some amount is the same price as half that amount?
Right or wrong, it sounds like a much less entertaining version of "A Clockwork Orange."

What's your point? Is Newsmax somehow less biased because other news sources might also be biased?
Agreed. When there's a big "Team GOP" ad right next to the story, it's hard to even pretend it's unbiased.

Come on, I thought checking Snopes was something we did reflexively. No? It should be.
I don't recall any mention of gnomes in Middle Earth, though.

XML doesn't allow what you're trying to do, though. It has to be properly nested, so you'd have to do something like:
<b>bold text</b><i><b>bold italic text</b> italic text</i>
A result is that the closing tag is always the last opened tag, so allowing </> makes sense.

Agreed, this article made the decision of whether or not to renew my subscription really easy.
