which may be control commands. I used to think it was just some idiot auto posting junk to mess with the site, but who knows
Here are some that may be disappearing soon, because they'll be moderated down. 298870 298871
Isn't the average age of game playing people somewhere in the late 20's or something. He seems to think that kids are the only people who play games? They should tax everything that has teletubby branding so that they can use that money to help children brainwashed by that garbage.
When I bought f-zero, the game kept randomly crashing, so I called nintendo and they said it was a known problem with a certain batch of systems. It was like a year after I bought it too, but they fixed it for free, I don't even know if it was under warranty. They just fixed it, fed-ex shipping and everything, it was awesome.
the thing is most people using computers now get all excited about stupid things like bonzy buddy. I've been running a windows XP computer for a while, and it still works perfectly fine, but I use gaim and firefox(but it worked fine while I used ie). Windows is perfectly fine, people are just too lazy to make malware for a mac cause it wont affect enough people to make it worth their time.
haha the thing is that exams are in march, so people have already been out of school for a long time. My results actually came out june 6th or something when I was deep into summer vacation. that's a good 2 months after exams ended(end before april), so it's really not all that much faster. It's just that people really want to know their scores there, I'm sure people do here too, I still do for college.
These are games that probably wouldn't have been made for the playstation and gamecube anyway either cause they didn't really want to change as much code as they would have wanted since they spent so much time just making the pc version or they feel it wouldn't fit "the demographic" . What Id game did they ever make for the N64, was it quake 2 or something. No one wanted that cause they had a much better console game called goldeneye. These games were all designed for the PC, they're sort of just porting them to the X-Box. Who knows how much fun they'd be without the mouse when they were made with a mouse in mind. Plus, usually games cost $10 more or something on consoles than they do on the PC? Why, I don't know. I doubt that doom or unreal will be any cheaper, but people can still buy it for their computers, and they wont have to pay sixty buck a year to play online(If an online mode is included - I really have no idea).
Don't some cell phone's tell you where you are anyway, atleast next to what tower or something. I'm pretty sure a friend of mine in london had a phone that told him what street he was on. Why do they have to make is so complicated.
I don't know about the combat system in MMORPGs, I mean I know they are supposed to be more relaxed and easily accesible, but can't someone come up with a zelda(ocarina of time?) like combat system, where more than a dice roll affects your attack. Maybe like planetside without the human vs human comabt, and swords and bow and arrows instead of machine guns and rocket launchers. Battle would be so much more fun. The game could actually be more about fighting harder monsters even which a weak character, than spending hours and hours in some stupid cave fighting frog men to level your character to 65 and then go 'fight' the bigger and 'harder?' creatures.
I might be posting this without really looking into the problem, but I was wondering if anyone else trying to install the thing had to get some version( like 6.6.6.ms or something) of the.net framework. It's wierd.
at a cheap 10 rupees (0.12) per letter
I don't know if 10 rupees is cheap, you can buy a pack of chips for that much there. A pack of chips that size goes for a dollar here, paying the equivalent of a dollar for every letter doesn't seems very cheap. Why don't the post offices just get those people email accounts(liks a someone@townpostoffice.org) or something and just have people email stuff to eachother at the post office only(so they don't kill business), and charge a lot less.
Ah man transport tycoon is the best game ever. I spent so many hours playing that when I was supposed to be studying. Transport Tycoon Deluxe has a more advanced traffic system though and it starts out faster. You could probably download it off the internet now and no one would care. I don't know if they have an apple version, why'd they give everyone ibooks, wouldn't it be cheaper to get normal laptops?
it's not like 16 pounds is that much though. I mean my physics book for college almost weighs half that much, add some more books, and I'm pretty much carrying around that much anyway walking around campus. Besides I'd carry that around just so I could have a two button mouse.

The Dreamcast was the first console to come with a modem, and pretty much opened the door to online gaming for the unwashed masses.
I believe some version of street fighter or some fighting game for the SNES or Genesis(I'm not sure) had a modem built into the cartridge.

Yeah but a apple laptops cost like 9 million times more than a non-apple laptop.
Yeah, in madras atleast it can get really low, to even 10 rupees an hour, that's like 25 cents. Where they came up with $1.35 is beyond me.
we wouldn't have the most awesome nintendo game ever if it weren't for regan and the iran-contra thing..
