In Denmark we have a system just like that that connects all the small take-away places in, almost, all of denmark.
Its called just-eat.dk and theres no crazy delivery fee (because its not the US, sorry but we wont pay $10 for delivery)
Theres also a system for thoose shops without their own delivery-guys that connects all thoose shops so you can get your food delivered anyway. Very clever.
But a couple of years old really, you guys should really try to catch up.:-)
But not everyone that uses steam or buys theese games knows exactly how to get a crack, so thats a useless system.
No matter how you look at it someone will always feel screwed over by this.
"Nokia plans to bring 35 new phone models to market this year to win back more users."
Is this something new?
Last year Nokia brought along 30ish mobile phones already.
This fact did not change the fact that people would want to buy something else.
There are other things at stake.
This is in no way no information nor is it a reply to the loss of marked share (or an attempt to win back the marked)
Maybe the marked is just to be won another way that Nokia have yet to realise, but i dont think Nokia will be worrying about this any time soon, they still have every other mobile phone producer looking up to them.
Well, tell ya one thing.
Posting on slashdot really wont change alot, and the fact that you actually are whining on slashdot perhaps shows where the problem really is.
The answer would apparently be that a thousand monkeys with a thousand typewriters will write a ton of spam and the occasional poem.
I feel cheated somehow.
If noone/less where to pay directly for the hardware, the run to get the best gfx card/cpu/whatever out grinds to a halt, as the companies see their base of customers dissapear at an alarming rate. If noone where to choose the hardware but instead only choose software many products that we see today would never stand a chance.
Kinda like picturing every computer made Dell style.
This resulting in a significant loss of evolution in the hardware marked that would have a severe effect on the consumer.
But if only a small amount of consumers where to pay for this new hardware the run would still not be as great, there would be no contest really.
Theese are of course, all only MY crazy theories. Judge for yourselves.
If they would actually rule out 666 then surely they would also rule out 013 Which means that this astroid in particular would really be 665.
There are probably also other numbers that I/we forgot to mention that would change the numbers even further (supposing that they actually DO rule out certain numbers)
When all you have is a hammer, everything starts looking like nails.
