    i had a 19" Hitachi .21 monitor. and i just recently got the apple 23" cinema and its is far better and with my ti4600 my games are much better through DVI than my old crt!

    The article doesnt say how long(distance) it was transfered over...
    Surely you can get greater speeds the closer you go, but when you hear about LAN speed records they generally specify a distance, this they dont. and as we all know the further from the AP the worse the signal. Where they standing right next to the AP?

    If they are saying they will encrypt the source on the disc, for all the dvd players that are in production now that dont have this chip will the video still be viewable or will the discs only work correctly with a SVP dvd player? Seems harmless but where there is a will there is a way, to stop the piracy i think they have to stop looking at the end user who gets a dvd and copies it to his mates. I think they need to look deeper into the employees that pass the orginal source on

    is aus thats pretty close to the same amount as buying the cd from the store. y would u bother getting an mp3 version when u could goto your store and get a retail copy with covers in proper quality for the same amount? they say that they are trying to help the record industry but they are trying to to stop the manufactoring of cd's and record stores?

    THAT IS ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC! congrats on such a good mod that must of taken ages to do but shit me thats great.. apart from i would never do it i think the effort put in is far above par.

    Aussie here: As our government is in such debt i think that this is a great way of shinking the ever rising debt of Australia and ditching MS licence and support by going OS to save money that way. Although alot more is going to be needed to be done from "changing operating systems" maybe 1 fix up the transport system :P that no doubt everyone has heard about recently. And apart from its only going to be used "where suited" what could be more suited than a free fully supported operating system ?
