Read the bill. It sounds like all public performance including singing in your car would be made illegal. That is if the copyright holder can prove $2,500 in losses.
Remember that each instance of Chrome uses shared memory with the other instances. For me this is far less than Firefox. Too bad there isn't no-script for Chrome, otherwise I would run it.
Malaria was a huge problem in the USA until DDT eliminated it. It will be back, just like bed bugs which were also eliminated by DDT.
DDT will probably be smuggled in or made in home labs just like drugs because of the hoax that banned it. Yes I do believe that we used DDT way too much, and instead of a ban, sane usage laws should have been enacted.
To use your rubber wheels on the car would be an improvement to it, removing a module and replacing it with a more efficient one. The rubber tire maker would have to get a license if the original car patent specified tire size and how it attached to the vehicular.
What you are describing for software fits the open source model. I can make this part of the program better by making a module more efficient or replacing it entirely. This could not be done with closed and or patented software.
The changes that would be needed are to put software entirely in the copyright realm, including all artwork and GUI elements. The copyrights would only last a sane 25 years. If someone comes along and accomplishes the same thing in a different way we will call that innovation and the industry will not stagnate. Excuse anything that doesn't make sense I am very sick.
Lets say I invent a device that gets you from point A to point B. Someone else invents a machine that gets you from point A to point B in the same time. The fact that both devices do the exact same thing but in different ways ( car and flying car) doesn't make one patent violate the other.
Two pieces of software do the same thing( VOIP). These two programs run on different hardware, do the same thing differently but with the same end result. Even though the two programs have different ones and zeros the first was patented and the second is in violation. In what world does this make sense.
River:...Look at you. You're young.
The Doctor: I'm really not, you know.
River: Oh but you are. Your eyes! You're younger than I've ever seen you.
The Doctor: You've seen me before then?
There is no dark side of the Moon. The Moon is tidally locked to its planet like most moons, meaning its orbit is the same length of its revolution which is about 27 days. This means a day on the Moon, sun rise to sun rise is about 27 days. The phases on the Moon that we see are a result of that day.
Consider yourself lucky, my house only gets 1.3Mb/s DSL.
And I consider myself lucky, that I don't live a 100 feet further and not able to get DSL at all like so many stuck on dialup.
There is still no designation for seasonal roads, and truck trails which Google maps and most GPS's send people down to get stuck in the winter and spring.
Where can you get those notched filters? I looked for them and I could only find plans to make them yourself. some local user, using a portable unit I guess ( No active licensees in my immediate area) is maxing out my preamps on both antennas and only a filter will stop this. I might build my own but it will have to be weather proof to be before the preamp.
"It's a helicopter, and it's coming this way. It's flying something behind it, I can't quite make it out, it's a large banner and it says, uh - Happy... Thaaaaanksss... giving!... From... W... K... R... P!! No parachutes yet. Can't be skydivers... I can't tell just yet what they are, but - Oh my God, Johnny, they're turkeys!! Johnny, can you get this? Oh, they're plunging to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! Not since the Hindenburg tragedy has there been anything like this!"
I don't normally respond to cowards but this one is correct. I miss read "and" and for an "or". Thankfully I am not a lawyer.

So they are instantly hired?

Patenting physical devices that actually work is what the system was designed for.
Patenting software which physically is a long string of ones and zeros on paper is not what was intended. Symbols on paper are covered by copyrights.

Try Moderatrix, It works for me.

Ah, I haven't seen a television commercial in a while. Having a DVR with auto commercial skip is a wonderful thing.
I just tried it for the first time. The ads I saw were text based, just like Google.
I tried the image search since Google recently ruined their's. It was even worse as they somehow disabled middle click, open in a new tab.
And further readings shows Paypal now says it was a misunderstanding and all is well now.
What they need to do next is to map a companies financial reports to music. That might make some money if the government doesn't buy it out.
Are you sure about that Ronald?
Actually when I posted it NASA had nothing on the flare, but they do now. spaceweather.com
I thought this was about the solar flares headed our way. Sorry the only link I could find, the news is too new I guess.
I forgot to mention in the U.S.A. I almost never drive in cities so I can't say if it is true.
I was just thinking about that. Has anyone heard of a standard shift vehicle having sudden acceleration?
If it is driver error, could it be that people that drive automatics tend not to be the best drivers?
I do realize that people living in citys would go crazy driving a stick shift.

Then how do you explain the TV show "The big bang theory" being popular? I can't believe it made it through the first season.
Penny started out as a normal girl and now she is spouting geek culture just like the others and the show is still popular.
