Why do I want a laptop that is dirty? Bad enough a cell phone screen gets smudged up, but dang, a laptop (yes, I know they are tablets, but lets be real, with the fucking keyboard cover, it's a laptop. Are Tesla owners getting a nanny that will monitor their driving habits and tsk tsk at them when less than optimal driving results and range happen?

I understand the car is very complex, but in the real world stuff happens and you can't assume the conditions or even the actions of the driver are going to be optimal.

Okay, here's the rub. The car can keep logs of everything. You can turn it off. And apparently, you like to break laws while driving and putting everyone at risk, so you probably would turn it off.

Other then that, they should throw you under the bus if you think it's okay to drive like an idiot. You threaten everyone when you drive like that. I know, laws don't apply to you because you think your god or something stupid like that, but guess what? They do. Start obeying the traffic laws.

So they aren't disputing the fact that change happens, they are disputing the theory as to why.

However their counter is not a theory, since there is no way to test it, and hence has no place in science class. Even if it is right, it is not science as it is not something one can test. Any time you mention god, by definition outside of the universe and untestable, you aren't talking science.

And you are just as bad as they are. Calling them "god-tards" just shows how bigoted and closed-minded you are.

    Pot, meet kettle.

No, I have come to the conclusion that people that believe in stuff that isn't real, ie "faith" that they are mentally unbalanced, not of a sound mind. Now a lot of people that claim they believe in god don't actually do. They are just conditioned to say that from growing up. Some people find it hard to shake stuff they have been told from childhood, some don't.

Zeus and all those other gods were as wild as their namesakes. They were just aspects of nature that wasn't understood, but given human/god like characteristics. Zeus didn't get jealous because people gave offerings to Hermes. The Jewish God is a jealous god (which is oddly enough a sin for man), The Jewish God can have NO other gods before him (which tells you that other gods do exist).
The Jewish God has no problem hurting his loyal followers to prove a point. (Book of Job).

I find that the bible is a great insight into the minds of man, precisely how fucked up and hypocritical man has always been. It's also great insight on how the Jewish Nation feels they are special (they claim to be the children of god) and how they have treated other nations in the name of this god since then. In other words, it explains why very few other nations like them.

The Government can ignore this just like they ignore a sovereign States authority (See DIA raids in CA on marijuana shops and farms). In fairness, the town must abide by State law which may invalidate the City law.

Until more people wake up and shake off the cobwebs, the police state will continue to grow. I hope like hell we catch it in time, but looking at media and education I have strong doubts.

Well, they may not be able to prevent Federal Drones, but State and County drones may be banned, especially if this City has a home-rule charter (giving them local law enforcement authority).

In Seattle, there is currently an uproar over drone use by Seattle PD. The Police have them, but haven't used them yet. They want to put them into use, but the public is pretty much opposed, and SPD hasn't made a convincing use case, or even cited any recent incident where these might have been useful. (They carry small cameras, and by the looks of them do not provide any telemetry.)

The idea is to prevent your own law enforcement units from wasting their time peeping into back yards and windows. By the time State Authorities and the Feds arrive, the situation is totally out of hand anyway. The demand on state and fed resources is probably such that their arrival with drones in hand is less likely.

So just keeping your local PD/Sheriff from acquiring invasive tools goes a long way.

We might be stoners here in Seattle, but we aren't stupid. The Police is likely to abuse the usage of Drones, and we know it.

With the PS4 and the next Xbox coming out this year as well as the various Steam Boxes and the next round of high end GPUs for PC about to drop, the Ouya's brief appeal seems even less relevant. Most of the excitement at the time had been that it was touching on this mass appeal for *some* sort of new hardware in a world of aging seven-going-on-eight year old consoles this cycle.

Worse, the whole "we will support Ouya" thing became a plague on every single game related kickstarter afterward. And if you didn't say you were going to port your game to Ouya, people would spam your comments non-stop about "hey, you should contact Ouya and consider porting your game to it". Because when you're trying to produce a game on the cheap that is iffy to begin with, the best thing to do is hitch that wagon to an unreleased piece of hardware that will probably have little success and certainly not offer you anything remotely near the existing platforms that you're already developing the application for, like the PC. Blech.

I don't know. I'm thinking it might be nice for emulators.
