    Lessee, put nanobot on slide with raw materials and energy source. Nanobot took 287.41 hours to replicate. (Observation: Little buggers take FOREVER to cover any distance.) Both nanobots then turned to nearest supply of raw materials and energy to replicate - each other. Both nanobots deactivated 2 seconds later, experiment over.
    Conclusion: Next time I give'em frikkin' LASERS!

    Heh, The computer I'm currently posting on was rescued from dumpster duty. It had all the companies data from the last quarter it was used on it. I was nice enough to reformat it for them before I upgraded the OS. BTW, my brother worked at the company (He was the one that pointed out the computer to me), He still doesn't know how I found out what his first year's pay was!) };->

    The Major companies just lease hard and lap tops.
    The providing company usually sells the old computers in bulk to aftermarkets after they're returned, or strips them for reusable parts and sell or junk the rest of the parts.
    (usedcomputer.com, refurbdepot.com and techsoup.com are a couple of companies that quickly come to mind)

    Most life as we know it uses DNA as its basis, but some primitive bacteria use RNA, As do some viruses, which aren't "technically" alive (ie: they need a host lifeform to spread, not just an organic media.)
    OTOH, DNA and RNA aren't the only protiens capable of being used to pass on information. I read the articles but couldn't find anyone investigating to see if there's a possibility that nanobacteria use Prions to self replicate.
    Seems like a possible avenue, since they did find DNA like activity, but couldn't (so far) find any DNA.
    (Would this even be possible? Or am I just blowing smoke anally?) };->

    Simple, get your friends, neighbors, co-workers, et all, and their friends, etc. to go to the polls and vote for ANYBODY on the ballots that is NOT a Republican or Democrat, any and all public offices! (Doesn't matter if the other is Libertarian, Communist, Nazi, Order of the Celestial UFO party or what, just vote for'em!)
    The ensuimg chaos in goverment as the status quo battles it out with the influx of outsiders that make it in should tie up the whole mess enough to keep'em out of the common joe's hair at least two years, maybe four.
    And after the dust settles, just maybe they'll start paying a bit attention to what the public, as opposed to the corporations, want done.
