BTW - Microwaving water is *not* a good idea. Pockets of the liquid can become superheated, and leap into and scald your face without any prior warning.
At what point did the head sysadmin become responsible for finding bugs in the code?
At what point did IT Directors become 'head sysadmins'? In my experience, IT Directors are executive-types responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of an organization - and this failure would certainly fall on them.

I'll second this suggestion - if you don't have the cash for TrackIR, give Freelook a try. Once you have it configured to your tastes, it really does add a sense of immersion to flightsims. Nice work Frenzon.:)
Interesting thing I saw the other day, while driving through Arnprior, Ontario - a church there had completely ripped off the windows logo for their signage. When I saw the sign, I thought I was seeing things... the Church of Microsoft? Creepy. Please don't burn me at the stake!
Ok, for pure brainpower here is the competition I propose: Take a Python programmer and a Java programmer. They tackle the same problem in both Python and Java. I'm betting on the Python guy to present better solutions in both languages.
Wow! This sounds like a premise for another rock-solid Paul Graham essay!
Wow, that was productive. Now back to real life. Communists do not want to negotiate. Their demands are not simple concessions or small political gains. Their only desire is the destruction of all things not Communist. They do not value human life, and they have absolutely no desire to concede a single point to an opposing view.
You're an absolute fool if you think terrorists haven't/aren't targeting Canada. This is untrue - at least according to the local intelligence community. But of course, you're more informed than they are, right?
This is what I used to enjoy so much about MUDs. There was one MUD in particular, Armageddon (ginka.armageddon.org), in which your player would be dead -permanently- once killed. I've been gaming a long time, but I don't think any game caused me to sweat so much in tense situations. The permadeath defenitely made the game. Dying wasn't such a big deal though, because it was equally fun creating a new character to roleplay.
The deep oceans are something that we are just barely starting to explore. There are some crazy looking motherfuckers living down there. They glow and shit.
This sounds like a beautiful introduction to a documentary on the subject.
Think it has anything to do with it being tied into the OS?
Don't worry dude, it only costs $699 to get out of it!

Good thing they had a hefty supply of Ritalout - for the love of god, they had those children listening to Phil Collins!
So, so very true.
MyEclipse J2EE Workbench (yeah, it's a mouthful) was a somewhat decent plugin for Eclipse when I tried it. Not free, but it worked.
Alec Baldwin: *waves hands, stammering* "Buh, Global warming! Uh.. corporations! Uh.."
Maybe he knows that Episode III is going to be _that bad_ that it'll sour the first three...
Is there any link between this movie and the game 'Crimson Skies'? I was blown away at how similar they looked after seeing the trailer on TV..
What? I've NEVER had a problem importing settings/profiles between versions of Firefox.

Hey, I think you're on to something here!
Sorry, forgot to provide a link to the story on CBC News

Just like my Honda Civic is no match for a Formula 1 Racecar, right?
Come on, this was modded 'Informative'?
Doom 3 comes out, 140" monitor demo.. /me changes his pants. Repeatedly.
