    At what point did IT Directors become 'head sysadmins'? In my experience, IT Directors are executive-types responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of an organization - and this failure would certainly fall on them.

    MyEclipse J2EE Workbench (yeah, it's a mouthful) was a somewhat decent plugin for Eclipse when I tried it. Not free, but it worked.

    I'll second this suggestion - if you don't have the cash for TrackIR, give Freelook a try. Once you have it configured to your tastes, it really does add a sense of immersion to flightsims. Nice work Frenzon. :)

    Interesting thing I saw the other day, while driving through Arnprior, Ontario - a church there had completely ripped off the windows logo for their signage. When I saw the sign, I thought I was seeing things... the Church of Microsoft? Creepy. Please don't burn me at the stake!

    Ok, for pure brainpower here is the competition I propose: Take a Python programmer and a Java programmer. They tackle the same problem in both Python and Java. I'm betting on the Python guy to present better solutions in both languages.

    Wow, that was productive. Now back to real life. Communists do not want to negotiate. Their demands are not simple concessions or small political gains. Their only desire is the destruction of all things not Communist. They do not value human life, and they have absolutely no desire to concede a single point to an opposing view.

    This is what I used to enjoy so much about MUDs. There was one MUD in particular, Armageddon (ginka.armageddon.org), in which your player would be dead -permanently- once killed. I've been gaming a long time, but I don't think any game caused me to sweat so much in tense situations. The permadeath defenitely made the game. Dying wasn't such a big deal though, because it was equally fun creating a new character to roleplay.
