I see quite a few people here recommend Gandi. I have to say I've had a really bad experience with them.
My biggest gripe is with their architecture, they have a very inflexible system which dictates that one user account is one entity and that entity's details are the same for each contact of each domain that is applicable. This means that if you want to change some detail for a single contact/domain, you have to create a new user account and transfer the domain to the new account. This transfer process is the normal domain transfer process and can be expensive and bureaucratic, even if you're not actually transferring the domain between people/entities. This is not something that they warn you about beforehand. I made the mistake of not checking that all my details on my domains were exactly the same before transferring them and ended up with five different user accounts!
On the plus side they offer two step authentication (although this didn't work out so well for Fastmail) and are very cheap, especially when you take anonymisation into account.
I was once in a cybercafe where any profanity typed in any application was replaced by hashes in front of my eyes. I couldn't even type places in England such as: West Sus### and S####horpe.
Webconverger sounds like exactly what you are looking for. An OS the boots straight into the browser. It has the added benefit of the option of either a hard drive install or a live CD, meaning that nothing would remain on the system after a reboot.
Tesla *has* publicly commented on how many vehicles it has sold in Georgia, it says that the 150 maximum is for a calendar year, while the 173 figure is for October to June and it hasn't hit the 150 mark for 2014.
My favourite bit of the home page is the table hard coded to look like a bullet list: <!-- Begin Left Column Content --> <table width="350" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <!-- Entry 1 --> <tr > <td class="rowbullet">•</td> <td class="rowBulletContent">We saved $43 billion in opportunity risks over</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="rowbullet"> </td> <td class="rowBulletContent">a five-year period <a href="quality-assur.html">SEE HOW</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="rowbullet"> </td> <td class="rowBulletContent"> </td> </tr> <!-- Entry 2 --> <tr> <td class="rowbullet">•</td> <td class="rowBulletContent">We achieved a 6000% increase in transaction</td> </tr>
There is no mention in the article of this being a zero day vulnerability, in fact the article specifically says "it’s not clear yet how SynoLocker’s operators installed the malware".
TFA reads like a gossip column. I see no evidence to back up any of the claims, in fact the claims themselves seem to be pretty woolly. There's no mention of what's being uploaded and why, could it be a backup option? Local search results, etc? As a Lumia user I would love to read an article by a techie with some experimental results. In fact if this is true I'm surprised that no one's done these tests already, it surely would have got out there by now.
The idea that the British government (I am British btw) could orchestrate any sort of cyber attack is a joke. Have you seen the reports on any NHS project recently? Have you ever seen James Bond at a computer? No. I rest my case.
ACPO is a very strange organisation, it's an unaccountable PLC, refusing FOI requests, and yet it is funded in part by tax payer's money and has a lot of power within the police and government.
I was going to agree with you but then I read a couple of comments below from people who know more about it who say that he was highly critical of others who touched up pictures or dared use his without permission.
What a load of conspiracy theory crap. No one can/will force all porn off.com and on to.xxx. You don't even seem to consider non-US sites. America != The World.
Everybody knows that web stats are worthless. And if people want to keep their bandwidth low they should clean up their sites. I for one welcome our... etc.

No, the best camera/lens for any given situation is always the one you left at home.
All $500+ cameras should come with Bluetooth/Direct Wifi and GPS built in.
Not sure I'd use WiFi, but completely agree about GPS. There are plenty of post solutions, but they're all a ballache.
Well done.
There's a nice post over at the Arch forums that breaks it down.

As others have said Synology is reporting the vulnerability was patched in December. Hardly a zero day.
Refreshingly rational about digital.

Are those YouTube features personally tailored?
Also I'm pretty sure that theodp is breaking the Flickr T&Cs by linking directly to the image.
No sir, *this* is the biggest problem with programming:
I can't imagine computer geeks using Word instead of their favorite text editors.
Indeed, everyone has his favorites.
All document conversions are left to the secretary (and she may do it in any way she pleases).

He's out now, pending a re-trial.
eldavojohn fancies himself as a bit of a rapper.
And doesn't "prophetic" indicate accuracy.

It's a warrant or court order. You're in England now.
Yeah, let's try getting wine up and running.
