That is a good point. There IS no way to run a WinUpdate without IE. I am yet to go to Firefox but expect to by the end of the month.

This is definitely the case. While it may seem like a good idea to bring broadband to poorer areas it does not mean it will be taken advantage of. It would be better to spend more money on educating these areas to use the internet more effectively and not just provide broadband access.

Despite this sort of fraudulant activity being conducted under the guise of the largest natural disaster many generations have seen, I am not really surprised. These people feed on human misery and would simply be using a different story to fleece money from the kind hearted. The fact that this disaster has affected the entire planet simply makes their jobs easier.

There is no doubt that spam is an American invention. It's kind of the online version of the "canned laughter" that you all love so well in your sitcoms. At first you don't really notice that it's there and then you can't go anywhere without running into it.

Cmon! As a creative person you can't hold on to your medium as 'untouchable'. Stop being so pious. Of course they have the creativity. They came up with the idea in the first place. It happens in all creative mediums. Just like music did - going from traditional instrument players in a studio to people at home on a PC creating sample based music. If you have no creativity, people aren't going to like it no matter what what.
Compare what your saying to when they first introduced "talkies" to take over from silent films. I'm sure there were a lot of directors worried that the 'creativity' would be lost in the transition. And what does the mean today? Zip.
