  1. Unlikely. on Laser Painting Could Lead to 25-Year Prison Term · · Score: 1

This sounds fishy to me. He was pointing out stars, so chances are he'd be shining the laser at a rather high angle. I don't know how much exposure you people have to planes, but I'll point something out: The cockpit windshield is on the top half of the jet. below the windshield, a nose bulges out. It provides better aerodynamics and shit, I guess. It's irrelevant. Now, tell me, how could he paint a jet and somehow manage to shine a lser at a constellation or whatever else and manage to hit a plane at cruising altitude and overcome the nose and the angle of the windshield to hit the pilot in the eye. Even taking off, the plane would be pointed at an angle high enough that the laser should be unable to reach the windshield and hit a pilot in the eye. Landing is more likely, but even then you have the task of dealing with range. I assume he wasn't inside the gates of an airport, which would put him at a minimum of several thousand feet away from the plane. This sounds like a huge load of bullshit to me.

  2. Re:Marijuana is indeed addictive. on Game Industry Derided For Mature Content · · Score: 1

Actually, I've stopped smoking for the past seven months. no problems. no withdrawl, no burning desire to light up again. marijuana isn't addictive. an addictive personality can equate the good feelings of toking up as a necessary part of life, or just getting through the day, and can THINK they're addicted. And I was a pretty heavy "stoner" before that. Making good grades in school while responsibly maintaining my work and extra-curriculum activities without any fault too, by the way.

Definitely a step up from my normal routine of nomadically wandering around the store for 3 hours and thinking, "That looks good...". I end up with 20 packages of Oreos and some chicken noodle soup.

I work for a business that duplicates CDs and DVDs. We have a bunch of autloading/burning/printing machines from companies like Primera. We can burn around 1500-2000 CDs daily. Mostly for places like banks or H&R Block. Anyways, www.primera.com has autoloaders and such available for purchase. Those machines work pretty well, although they take up quite a bit of the windows resources at work. I think they have mac compatible machines, but haven't checked in a while.

First off, I find it funny that any time someone takes a picture of something that's anti-mainstream, such as this, it's obviously a doctored or misleading photo. Second off, it would prove more than "people knew how to build boats." The Christian Bible said Noah's Ark landed there. It's a pretty safe bet that if they find ruins of a large boat (the size of Noah's Ark) or similar evidence, it's probably evidence that Noah's ark existed. Of course, the "h4rdk0r3 atheists" will argue otherwise.

Could somebody more learned in ecology tell me why we can't put the damn lead back in the damn earth when we're done with the damn products?
