    I keep a copy around to open and resave corrupt .docs that crash MS Word. Screws up the formatting a little, especially the headers and footers, but it beats retyping.

    Yep, and a few years back they got caught out. Screen shots of IIRC Windows XP running on Macs. PR company cut and pasted stock photos.

    How about all of the electronic lodgement apps comapnies are required to use? I saw a document which basically said we were required to have a copy of IE5 or so running on MS Windows. Is this government support of a monopoly or what?

    It means hit shift+continue and let the printer get on with it. At least that's what we did with the Laserjet 4s. The new 5000s have a convert Letter -> A4 (or A4->Letter) option that makes it go away entirely.

    Yes, we should all think of the rights of pop-up targets and how they exist only to be shot repeatedly.

    Has anyone noticed that the targets are red, not black. Maybe it's just my setup.

    No, I got it wrong. I double checked the IMDB, and it looks like the last episode I saw was 2.16. That was about a month ago. I didn't even realise Farscape was on until I found it channel surfing. (I usually don't watch 9 on Saturday Afternoons because it's all horse racing.)
