I keep a copy around to open and resave corrupt.docs that crash MS Word. Screws up the formatting a little, especially the headers and footers, but it beats retyping.
How about all of the electronic lodgement apps comapnies are required to use? I saw a document which basically said we were required to have a copy of IE5 or so running on MS Windows. Is this government support of a monopoly or what?
It means hit shift+continue and let the printer get on with it. At least that's what we did with the Laserjet 4s. The new 5000s have a convert Letter -> A4 (or A4->Letter) option that makes it go away entirely.
Are they going to require me to turn in my home system?
No, they'll have a government sponsored buy back scheme. You'll turn in the old evil computer and get a shiny new one with apropriate copy protection. Woohoo, new toys for everybody.
No, I got it wrong. I double checked the IMDB, and it looks like the last episode I saw was 2.16. That was about a month ago. I didn't even realise Farscape was on until I found it channel surfing. (I usually don't watch 9 on Saturday Afternoons because it's all horse racing.)
Call me cheap, but this better do a lot for that much.

Yep, and a few years back they got caught out. Screen shots of IIRC Windows XP running on Macs. PR company cut and pasted stock photos.
Nah, that's Law and Order: SUV.
Can we have a say please?
Oh, I'm sorry. I guess not.

NT started at ~3.1 IIRC. Probably to match up with Windows versions.
Not the 51st.
I think Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, and anything with a Disney park are ahead of us.
It involves imaginary numbers, but it's a complex situation.
But i want to be a Slave of Science.
These guys talk about using handhelds in education. Being able to catch Cooties from your Palm is a little distrubing though.
Worse, you dial a wrong number and get a telemarketer.
Should I file a patent on that?
Two words: Martha Stewart.
You could always try Orbiter. http://www.orbitersim.com
Actually, yes.
Google points to a few references.
Nah, He still can't get to his own website when he types george dubyah dubyah dubyah bush. Al Gore made sure he can't use it.
I can't resist the obvious: Naaaaaaaaah.
Yeah, and we know about Australians inveting guns.
You forgot "boy imagines boss having girl and coffee." mmmm, okay, yeah, slurp.

Yes, we should all think of the rights of pop-up targets and how they exist only to be shot repeatedly.
Has anyone noticed that the targets are red, not black. Maybe it's just my setup.
Yep, Army hardware requirements.
I'm waiting for "Soviet Army." It will probably run in 16 colors on a 486.

I just hope the punishment isn't transportation.
