I've been using the kensington since it came out. I love it but do sometimes miss the click of the scroll wheel. I have the wireless and the wired but don't use the wired because it just doesn't seem to respond as quickly. This may have been improved but I haven't tried updating the drivers since i bought it.
How come kensington never gets any press? I've been using some sort of kensington mouse for almost 10 years now.
I didn't say I was going to;) I plan on buying better lenses but for most people the normal canon lenses are good enough. I have a friend with several L series lenses and he is willing to lend them to me. Not everybody has that ability but my main argument is that the normal canon lenses can be very good if you buy the right one.
Ummmm DSLR will not cost 2-3x the money as a high end digital camera. My rebel was $616 with the 18-55mm ~ 29-90mmm lens after rebate. A Canon 75-300mm lens would cost me $149. I think the flexibility that a DSLR gives me for that price is well worth it. I don't need to buy a $1500 lens for it either.
I know there are DIY projects for this type of thing. I think mainly for older cars. My boss bought a kit to run his fiat because he is installing an injector system that isn't normally installed on the car. There is some cool info out there you also could use one as a base and do one off boards. Sources for this type of thing have been posted to/. in the past.
Has anyone been tracking the turnover rate at SCO?? I once worked at a company that had an average turnover of about a year. Pretty much the only people that made it over a year were hired from outside the US and were locked in due to immigration reasons.
Seems like SCO has had that software engineer position in india open for sometime now.
I use to have an MD player and currently have an ipod mini. Sony's main problem was transfer speed. The older MD players you had to record to at normal speeds. When they finally came out with higher transfer rates it was only in the exspensive units and only worked in windows. Also i really like the interface on my ipod and the fact tthat it has a date book and a few games on it. Also I'm pretty sure the newed HDMD disks or whatever they are called are going to be just as exspensive as MD disks were when they first came out.
My ibook can "sleep" for several days. Also I really like the fact that I can close it move around the house and my ssh sessions are still up when i open it up again.
Didn't older versions and current versions of MAC OS do stuff like this. I know some stuff pops up option boxes when you click and hold. I'm not sure if any buttons did this but maybe.
Also check out http://www.musiconmac.com not a high traffic site but it is very nice and seems like it will grow into something better. Also it has a bunch of good links.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Logic Audio. I don't know if they have a demo though. Apple owns them now. You might want to check out soundtrack it is supposed to be based on logic and might do the scoring also. It can be difficult to learn logic initially but it is a very powerful program. Make sure you get Logic Audio not Gold or platinum. For now Audio will do what you want and it doesn't cost $600. I think straight audio should be less than $200.
On my ibook I went with the compusa 3 year service plan. Compusa covers screen damage no questions asked. Or at least they did. Either way the extra warranty is a good idea on a powerbook. I think everyone I know who has a PB has had work done on it under warranty at some point.
Yes some of us waited a bit before we signed up for an account.
These are not the low UIDs you are looking for...
Move along..
What a great battery..... For me to poop on!!!!!

Don't forget the $79 for shipping.
;)
oh and the $49 for anti virus software.
Oh yeah and I would suggest the security package at least another $49
hmmm that'll be $526 also that's 349 after a $150 rebate.
Suck it PC user.
I can get away with that I use to be one

I don't know with a username like that I think I would avoid links in their signature.
Just a thought.

I'm not sure if this is a New York thing but I think you can just ask to be removed from their list and they have to remove you.
:-D

I remember most how dark the sky was. Of course I took full advantage of that by sitting outside coding on my ibook.
I don't think I would go spending a million bucks knowing this seller doesn't have 100% feedback.
When will apple release the Windows 3.11 version?? Anybody know what the requirements will be?
Maybe there was a typo??
