As the other posted mentioned, dont even think of doing it Live before you know how to do it. Install it at home, setup a PDC/Fileserver first. Setup a desktop to connect to the server, etc. I have used linux for 5 years personally, and didnt attempt to use it for my business until 2 years ago. I had 3 years of exp. with it before i used it on live servers.
Again, as a avid linux user, i always like to suggest it as a option. However in your case, the money is spent, the network works.

The specs look impressive, expecially with a custom kernel to take advantage of the hardware. I am just curious what the price point will be. I am going to grab it the day it comes out, mainly because i want to make use of my 45 Inch LCD Tv:)
I wonder low long it will take after lauch for the 1st modchip.
I can definally see google hosting happening now... So many other rumors like the VOIP and the "GooGLeOS"..
The hosting one seems it could be legit, expecially now since they are domain guys now.
Kinda neat... I go to cheeburger cheeburger, its a real popular place near my house for burgers.. It even showed a jpg of the menu! and the fat asses eating burgers and on the wall of fame for eating a one pounder.
I use asterisk at home and work. It works flawless (once you have it setup correctly)
Whats great is my home asterisk box communicates with the work asterisk box. At work we have two seperate offices one in LV and one in NY, those two box's communicate to each other.. In the same way for example broadvoice will probally hook up with packet8 to eliminate the middle man and save mula, so those calls to eachother will cost nada.

I was referring to custom kernel in regards to the specs being compared with say a PC.
