    I seriously don't see a problem with devs enabling certain added features if a HDD is detected. I'm not sure this concern is really a valid one. In fact, if it's promoted right, it might drive sales of the beefier Xbox360's to play the game with all the yummy features.

    That would be great if viruses were the only source of security threats. Real people are far more menacing threats. It seems to me that the people who devote the time to develop skills in compromising boxes would go after the more rewarding target: *nix boxes.
