Sure, 99 times out of a 100 they might get away with it, but one time they'll be facing someone with a gun, who's very nervous and frightened, and who will pull the trigger if he so much as twitches.

When he gets shot and cries about it, can he really expect sympathy? Of course, after all, he was *just* breaking into someone's house to steal their treasured possetions. It's not material value that counts (and can be replaced by insurance) it's things that carry huge sentimental value.

To draw an analogy - what do you think happens in the wild if one animal tries to steal the food of another? They fight.

The car - get a steering lock for it. They might be easily removed by a professional, but it takes time and if the theif has a choice between your car and one without, they'll go for the easy option.

Depends - if it's a one off, I really enjoy it. My job as a theatre lighting technician means that occasionally we have to get in to a new theatre just after the last show has finished (usually around 2am) and work through the night getting the lights rigged and focussed for the next show.

It's work where you have to concentrate, as something dropped from 40 feet can kill anyone below, and the pressure to get it done on time is immense.

However, I remember throwing an enormous tantrum and walking out one day - I was working as a volunteer to cover someone who's wife was dying in his arms - and after working from 1am -> 8am straight, the director came in and told me that because I'd been up all night I could have a discount on my breakfast.

I think you can get anyone to do anything provided they know they're appreciated at the end of it. I usually get paid, so that's appreciation enough!

I'm sorry, the quality of that review was appalling. Why on earth does the author suggest connecting it to a receiver box, when the whole point is to allow TV on the go? What sort of person carries a receiver unit to their hotel? This is, of course, ignoring the fact that the TV Wonder is actually a receiver unit anyway.

And again, he criticises the quality of using co-ax cabling to get the TV signal to the box. Does he have any better suggestions? Wireless? ESP, perhaps. I think this reviewer needs to think very hard about what this unit was actually designed to do, before leaping in and criticising it. I didn't even bother to read the rest of the review - if he doesn't know what he's talking about in the first half, he won't in the second, either.
