Personally I dont care if the FBI overhears me talking to my g/f , mom, brother, etc. If you have something that secret use encryption or go to some random private chat room, or use a program to directly connect via IP address. It's not like they could listen to everyones communications. At worst they could use a keyword search.

Learn how to speak with a thick southern accent and then speak without moving your lips and they wont get a thing. I have yet to find a "you talk it types" program that could handle a thick accent

While initially al the files would have to be hosted on servers controlled by the P2P owners as more people d/l the files they would be able to take the load off their servers and put it onto others.

Perhaps files could be submitted to them reviewed and then authorized to enter the network. If it really took off they wouldnt even have to host much on their servers after the initial seeding was completed

As for the "surfboards" that everyones complainng about remember they have repulsorlifts so they wont be actually on the lava. Theyre floating platforms controled with your feet or leaning your body. It could easily be a cool scene if done right. I say wait and see.

I know a recent economic study in Star Wars Galaxies showed that, just as in a real life capitalistic economy, the large majority of the currency is held by a very small group of individuals. Additionally, the economy has consistently seen more money travelling out of circulation (via taxes, repair fees, bank-to-bank xfer fees, etc) that there is money coming in. Fascinating stuff. I read the economic study of galaxies. And the money there works like a sink. money flows into the system when it is given to the characters by the game and then out of the system when the players spend it on things.

And the distribution of wealth doesnt take into account playing times. Someone whol plays an hour or two on the weekends is not going to have nearly as much money as someone who plays several hours each day.
Plus all the characters who are created and then abandoned when the player goes broke and decides to start over or the characters who get played once in a blue moon.

Plus it could keep terrorists from coordinating an attack by cell phone. Sure they could use radios to coordinate but if a bunch of encoded radio messages start flying around I imagine the secret service would know that something was up.
