Friend of mine bought the switchfoot cd and put it in her computer. I've tried using all the so called patches and microsoft's anti spyware all of which failed to remove it. I've gotten to the point where now I can see the files but they're write protected. If I bypass the write protection and delete them will it screw up the laptop?

The college kids myspace is thefacebook.com is targeted at college kids. It's nice because it allows you to put your phone number and other info online but restrict who can see it. This comes in handy when you are trying to get hold of someone for a class project but you don't have their number. But the two greatest things is that it requires a university email which weeds out the middle schoolers, high schoolers, and parents. And it doesn't allow you to customize yourpage making information easy to find.

While you are correct about the form factor thing it wouldn't be hard to imagin a future DS with a bluetooth or even just a wired microphone/earpiece adaptor. Plus the touchscreen could easily have a numpad displayed on it.
I'm a mass media / film student and I'm thinking about making a 30 second commercial. My question to you/. community is; What was it about Firefox that helped you convince the Joe User's in your life to switch.
Since I installed iTunes v6 the program has a fatal error every time I start it. Itune v5 worked fine till i upgraded. I tried uninstalling v6 and putting v5 back on but I still get the same error. It doesn'tidentify the error but just asks me to send the crash info to MS.
What the heck lets get fark.com in on the action. Slahdot/Digg/Fark the new Axis of evil bringing servers down on a whim. Administrators everywhere cower in fear.
Same Processor different mobo. Mobo stopped working once already and had to be sent in for repairs which was when I found out that I couldn't just switch it out with a new one.
I have a Compaq Presario (yeah yeah I know, I learned my lesson with that purcase) Can I call MS and have them give me a new activation code if I upgrade my mobo? Processor and HD are still the same but because of the HP tatoo on the mobo it won't allow me to get past the activation screen.

I'll be heading out to see serenity in about an hour. I have never seen firefly, despite trying for the past three weeks (curse my stupid computer for not recording). What do I need to know in order to better understand and enjoy the movie (other than what is in the trailer).
Makes sense. I've been a lifeguard for 3 years and everytime I've had to make a save there is always a blank spot in my memory. I never remember actually getting in the pool. The time between realizing they need help and actually getting to them is usually blank.

While I dont believe Piracy alone was responsible for the shows popularity (i'm sure plain word of mouth helped as well) I don know for a fact that being able to view the first episode at the BG website got some of my friends hooked.
And as for the original BG. It came out in 1978 I for one had never even heard of it and I would consider myself a card carrying nerd. I could be wrong but I doubt many people tuned in just because of that.
I watched because I was intriqued by the story synopsis put forth in the commercials. And if you look at how quickly exploded after the miniseries aired the name recognition theory doesnt hold water.
If they saved all the money they're spending on going after file swappers and instead lowered cd prices I guaruntee you would see an increase in buying cds

Ok I just got back from seeing it and everyone was correct. I'm ordering firefly from netflix now, and hoping for a renewal of the series.
