I used to have a manager who was lousy with people below him and great with people above him. So we decided I would deal with everybody below him and he would deal with everybody above him. Worked great. Staff was always informed and he really, really faught for us. Defending us at the higher levels. Staff where happy as well, as I did a good enough translation of what was expected to how it needed to be done.
However he was the only one that was happy toi bud out of people management when he was unable to do it. I have had others who are even worse AND try to micromanage everything without giving ANY feedback or idea what is expected of the people.
There is a difference between quantity and quality of life. If you are healthgy and bored and like to die soon, pehaps there are other issues that need profesional help.
The fact that you want a 5 year extention means you are not ready to die. You are just not ready to get old. You see 80 year old people as those who sit in front of a window and waiting to die.
That is a mental idea. My great aunt because 115. Lived alone till she was 106 and only wanted to die in the last year, because Cancer had taken her strenght.
Bot my parents lived well into their 80-ies and, except for the last year or so, lived life and had many friends that where WAY younger to go out and have drinbks with.

The author of the study suggested personality may also have something to do with longevity as well: People who live past 100 tend to have forgiveness as a common character trait. They tend to focus on something positive when something bad happens.
So that last part is not proven and more correlkation than causation. Yet is a great thing to have. Way less stress than a negative person.

I do this all the time. Only once in 10 or 15 years did I get a call trying to sell something to me or ask me something. This was form a company I had a contract with. I asked them to remove me from their marketing list for calls and that was the end of it.
Of my friends, only one does not take calls from unknown numbers, but not because of robo or marketing calls.
Disclaimer: I live in Belgium, Europe where cold calling with robocalls is very much restricted and calls will not be free for the caller, especially not to cell phones (although they can be cheap in volume)
Giving data to an external company is already very restricted and the company will still be responsible, regardless if an external company does the calling. So outsourcing to get around legal issues is not possible.

What you need to do for little children is blacklist 100% and sit with them and explain things while you are there, so they themselves can filter what they want to see. I know, parenting is hard and takes time. They will sometimes even hate you, but that is ok. You are the parent, not their friend.
And going to a blacklist later will work just as well as in the beginning.
