When I was 5, I was obsessed with sorting buttons (my grandma kept a tin of buttons around, all different colors/shapes/sizes)...hours and hours spent sorting into different piles.
When I was in 2nd- 6th grade, I obsessed with finding 4-leaf clovers. I would easily spend 6 hours straight outside looking for them...every day that I could.
When I was in 7th-12th grade, I was obsessed with boys and booze.
After I became a young adult, it was crochet, jigsaw puzzles, decorating the house with plastic plants, making candles from scratch (hundreds of dollars sunk into these 'projects')
Then the Internet came in my area.
Slingo..collecting pictures of chocolate, candles, pillows (before it was considered stealing...I only used them to create MomJongg tiles)...chat rooms...
Then I discovered the java/flash games....Bejeweled, Collapse....
3 years ago, I was recruited via Refer a Friend. Is it any small wonder that I now spend as much time in WoW as I do at my job? I clearly had obsessive traits WAYYYY before WoW. Did WoW cause this? Nope....it just channels my obsessiveness into a single place.
They seemed perfectly content letting those "data per use" charges rack up without telling me' till I went to pay the bill. Over $200 worth on that phone that if I was the type to pay without looking, they would have been more than happy to keep letting them rack up.
Those phones that 'require a data plan'... again, bogus. My daughter got a Samsung Captivate Galaxy S. Nice phone for her...anyway, it required a 'media plan' to function. I told em to hook up w/ the same as the rest (2gb limit)..the 30$ package. ATT)
I got my bill, and the phone, that 'required' a media package had ran the whole month on the 'pay as you go' data plan, instead of being converted over.....so yea....not only are the limits a scam, but the damn phone works without a 'media' plan....
I agree. At least with WoW, it's easy to forget to eat....and.... of course...when I do go to the fridge downstairs...I end up running there and running back....
Agreed. Not to mention, just one mob in Dustwallow? Lame. Let's see him run that sucker in Twilight Highlands doin' the dailies out there. Or on FTA/FTH run...or in AV.....

Someone in my apartment complex stole mine, because right after it came up missing, it connected to my Access Point. I stepped outside my front door and announced very loudly that I know who had my laptop and that the police were on their way. I walked back inside, waited 10 minutes, and the laptop was back on my doorstep. I never had a piece of computer equipment stolen again.
Quite a few do....what else do you do between pulls, or while waiting in the dungeon Q.....(as dps)...or while listening to a 30 min explanation of the strat for the boss...or while on the 10 min, midraid break....or on that 15 min flight across Kalimador.....
Actually, this was quite the wake up call for me. I spent yesterday scrubbing my facebook page (kept it cause that dang farmville...), deleted my twitter account, and got rid of my blogger page. I realize there is always history/cache out there, but anything in the future will just be my 'gamer' persona.

I set my camera down on the picnic table and pressed record...to capture the moment for reliving later....the bright sun, sandy beach with the water in the background, people walking around and the music that was blaring. In 2007, I uploaded it to show some friends what I was talking about....
Last week, I got notice that I "used a song owned by Sony". I didn't use it, I didn't add it...it was what was playing in the background. How in the world can they claim copyright on my video?
They didn't make me take it down, instead plopped one of those "buy this from iTunes" at the bottom of the video.
I think they are taking this a little too far.
Rebirth only gives 4700 mana. We don't have a lock in the group so no SS. I don't need innervate for me nearly as much as the other healers....I'm just saying that after getting a good rotation down of how I use the spells, they went and messed with it, ONLY BECAUSE OF PVP.

Agreed. They nerfed innervate on druids (yes, it IS nerf, so what if the CD was reduced too...it's still not as powerful as it should be, think Iron Council hard mode), ONLY because of PVP complaints (which I try to avoid PVP...I AM on an RP server, afterall). There were several places where we had to do a whole different strat for Ulduar....because of that one change.
Well, what if I pass away, and I want my account/toon to be maintained by someone else...such as a close friend.
Are you saying that in my will I can't say that 'x friend' has full access and can do as they please with my toon? (As opposed to my kids, who will just delete the character and cancel the account)
