I have used IE for all of my browsing until just recently. I downloaded Mozilla after reading an article on slashdot about the new release, and I love it.

  2. loopholes on No Federal Do-Not-Spam Registry For Now · · Score: 1

The do not call list has been working well for me with phone calls... until recently. Now I get calls from people with heavy accents! I suppose they are calling from a different country? All of these spammers, email and phone, are always going to try to find a work around.

So sometime in the future we are going to have people being arrested because their DNA indicates that they have a very aggresive/compulsive/sadistic whatever predisposition. It's easy for the authorities to say that they are only going to use it for crimes, but who knows what they might decide to do in the future. I think that this is going to far.

I know that links to your site from other sites, high ranking sites in particular, is very important. In fact, many popular sites that I visit have traffic exchange programs. Funny thing is that they often offer to send more traffic than what they receive from you. Seems odd until you realize that they are also in it for the page ranking on google.

I have gotten quite a bit of spam that is actually written in Chinese. I don't think I have gotten any spam in Russian. I actually got a piece of junk mail that I thought was funny once. I don't get it, can someone explain to me why the new media costs so much. Whenever a faster recorder comes out, whether it was a CD recorder in the past, or DVD recorders now, the media prices are so expensive. A couple of years ago DVD-R 4x media was really expensive, but now it's cheap... What's up with that? It's definitely something I have in mind before I buy something like this.
