    But with vcr's you are allowed to record something off TV so you may watch it at your convenience, and MP3's are legal to copy CD's that you OWN onto your computer or portable MP3 player (and in Canada MP3 trading is still legal.)

    Actually no...

    It also includes Crossover Office which is similar to but more powerful then WINE. I was even able to install visual studio .net on it for a test, had the .net framework going and everything.

    Even (just for fun) installed IE 6.0 so I could do "windows updates" for IE and visual studio... it was quite impressive and seamless.

    We do pay for that, we buy windows, and IE IS windows (try to run explorer without IE's .dll files) so therefore it is payed for.

    No... but I can find other, specialized, Fantasy Football and specialized games sites. Since most of Yahoo's Games were just taken from PopCap anyway I'd rather go to the source and let them get money for the advertisements. So they can continue to develop these, and other, games.

    Big (16 inch or so) dog dish... with "fluffy" or "killer" written on the side... then change the amount of food in it each day (to simulate eating/filling of food.) And put all this where potential thieves will see it...

    Or get a well trained large dog even it's barking is enough to tell them that someone is awake now and will be seeing them... with the motion light he'll be right where u can get a good look at him.

    Best dogs are Lab's, and German Sheppards... big/but not too big, and can be well trained to defend people...

    Unfortunatly, Peter Jackson will not be doing the prequel, and after the ring was destroyed the stories of middle earth all seemed pretty boring so no sequels were released. I have personally E-Mailed Perter Jackson's "people" and he has no plans to do the hobbit which is the book that started it all.

    Read the license agreement of any software package... "This software is provided 'as is' without warrant of any kind"

    Basically it's not the software developers responsability if someone else hacks the software.

    That is irrelivant. Both cards support DirectX x.y which is what the game developers used. If you use OpenGL it still works with both, but better on nVidia.

    The issue I have is if you use OpenGL it's easier to port your program to Linux/Mac/BSD/other OS because it's not a Programming base that's limited to M$ Windows

    Also while it is well done DirectX is a layer between the game and the GPU which is similar (although faster) to a JRE or JavaVM, where OpenGL does not have an extra Layer... a properly coded OGL game is faster and smoother then any DirectX game.

    Being replaced by?? DLP has been around for quite a while. They just recently have been able to bring down the cost for it, so now it's more affordable.

    ...TV rots your brain, while doing things on the computer, even games, stimulates and causes emotions and reactions... now no one can bitch since they spend more time infront of the TV then I do playin games. (Alot of time learning to map tho)

    I remember reading that they may send a "feul capsule" ahead into orbit around Mars. When they get there fuel up, go to the surface, do whatever, and have lots of fuel for leaving. This isn't a huge issue. Hell, they could have enough in the tank to fill up on the way home too.

    Ummm.... you two should take off your tinfoil hats, and join us here in the real world. These things monitor speed, do you stop at stopsigns (if you slow to ~10kph probably are doing a rolling stop) and do you take turns too fast. It's not recording where you are, what time you got there, and if you were late getting your date home last night.... Wait first you'd need a date.... anyway.... RELAX!!!!!!

    So you like rear-ending people, loosing control at turns, and hitting pedestrians at stop signs?? I hate people who drive like that, you don't have to go 20mph on the highway to drive safe.... But since I've been hit by cars 3 times, and been in 2 car accidents because of people who don't drive properly I know what happens when YOU drive like that... MY insurance goes up....

    DRIVING IS A PRIVILAGE... not a right

    Simple, wifi for public hotspots, ability to "dial" (as a cell) to browse the web when not at a hotspot (these can be modular through SDIO), normal software (address book, calendar etc...) If above devices are sdio, then a 2nd sd slot for files would be great...

    Some cheesy games would be nice too... maybe pinball, solitare, and donkey kong.... Hardware wise... we're almost there....

    But did it ACTUALLY begin then? remember there was the issue of missing 10 days (section 2.3) If the Julian calendar was (and is) right then it's August 20th today instead of september 2nd

    So maybe we're all wrong.
