Most blogs (take /. for example) mearly summarize an article and link to it. No original thought, no "sources" that lead them to the information. No following leads to find out more. They just read and regurgitate.

The sky is blue. Now that I've told you the sky is blue, I'm a journalist? I think not.

That said, most current applications won't run on it. However it does state there will be a program to emulate older versions of Windows to allow those applications to run. Crossover Office anyone?

Then they thought about going up with a big baseball bat in the Canadarm and knock a few homers, but Mark McGuire wouldn't go to bat for them.

While I haven't had time to play with Base much, it seems quite similar to access, but with some new fuctionality, and more user friendly for the Layman. Base does require the Sun JRE, or Microsofts Java VM installed to run.

Overall I've seen improvements by leaps and bounds above the 1.1.2 that I upgraded from.

Now, if they filter the word Breast because of porn, it makes sense. But if I was unable to research on breast cancer then my project would have suffered.

Incedently, the school did filter by word, and I couldn't access breast cancer research online at school, I had to do it at home.

It's a test to see if either/both can handle it.

You can construe any fact to your favor, it's just in how you read the numbers.

Where's the study that shows that while yes X% of teens that are violent play violent games. However Y% of teens that play these violent games have violent tendancies.

All the people I know that play UT2004, or Hitman, or anything like that are NOT violent.

They should study all people who play the games and check for violent behavior. But these numbers wouldn't work so well for them would it?
