  1. Re:WTF!? on We Love Katamari Review · · Score: 5, Insightful

There has to be something fundamentaly wrong with the slashdot-iverse when I get more information from those few lines than the entirety of the article to which the front page links. Surely things cannot be MEANT to work this way.

  2. WTF!? on We Love Katamari Review · · Score: 2, Insightful

Can someone please explain to me what the point of this game is? I read about 2/3rds of the linked review and still have no idea; what the objective of the game is or what game play is like.
All I know is that the author feels really bad about swallowing a continent, and that he/she really likes the music, maybe, I think.
The only explination I can come up with is that this article was translated, and lost what little coherence it had to begin with in the process.

They also gain information, in this case, about the planet because the it happens to cross between us and the planets star. Thus the light of the star dims just a little as the planet makes its travers(sp?). We saw the same thing with Venus in our own solar system not too long ago.

Site has some very real potential but the implementation still needs some work. The main thing I would use this site for is to put multiple tags on the same map and while it looks like they are trying to implement this fuctionality, it dosen't appear to be in working order yet. Keep working fellas, I'll try back again sometime.

Actually yes. As a matter of fact every person I know who has gotten a dell (all laptops though) has had some kind of problem neccisitating a call to tech support. In fact when my girl friend talked to the tech monkey at dell he owned up that "people don't by dells for great hardware, they by dells for the great service". Yeah... riiight.

I whole-heartedly agree, Tim Burton was the perfect director for the batman series. I might also say that the later actors to protray the dark knight after Butron and Michael Keaton left were just really bad (Val Kilmer and Goerge Clooney) ugh!

  15. Baldurs Gate on Too Much Gaming, Anyone? · · Score: 1

I used to play Baldurs Gate like a junkie in college. The game had little amussing/informative messages that would pop up when you were loading between screens, I remeber one one that said something along the lines of "We know you love the game, but DON'T FORGET TO EAT! We don't want to lose any dedicated players." Cracked me up everytime I saw it, usually at the end of another 6pm to 3am bing.

Although the review says that this function is only enabled in the "international version". Pretty stupid if you ask me, since this is one of the features I'm looking for in an HD based MP3 player.
