  1. if you cant beat them, hire them.... on NSA Hiring At Black Hat · · Score: 1

Seriously, this goes hand in hand with wall street hiring all the engineers, to avoid them going elsewhere and providing competition to a market that is already running over every other. If there is no one left smart enough to understand and question what wall street is doing, then wall street wins, and the NSA is following in the same direction....avoid any possible discovery by having all the good ones playing for your team.

  2. bad things come from this on Escaping Infinite Loops · · Score: 1

This is an old technology (although easily destroyed by clouds, smoke, hands in the air, and any other intercepting body), but for sos purposes, there have been talks about using this as a default means of comm for boats out at sea in distress , so as not to use too much energy trying to send out an sos, but at the same time, keep it going long enough someone could pick it up passing by....

  5. What a bunch of bull on Missouri Law Says Students, Teachers Can't Be Facebook Friends · · Score: 1

I know plenty of students that have teachers as friends especially in university academia....seriously, when you get to a point where your peers are the ones that helped train you, this becomes stupid. I understand your 5th grade teacher should not be your close personal friend to you, but that would fall under a different category altogether no?

  9. exploit only for profits on Are We Seeing the End of Big Oil? · · Score: 1

This story seems to forget the bottom line, many companies do what they need to make the biggest profit, in this case, split, and allow for a smaller part to take the bigger part of a debt, which they can declare bankruptcy for later....has nothing to do with the oil trends, trust me. no oil company will be going smaller any time soon.

although this would debunk the 3rd spider man movie in terms of where spidey's black suit truly comes from .....although now that they are restarting spiderman again (i will boycott this movie, for all the right reasons..such as you dont redo movies unless they are atleast 20 years old) it should not be a problem...

Mel Gibson is another one, so is Clint Eastwood, and George Clooney, whom all had longer streaks then 10 years.
