All this will do is steer more businesses away from GPL licensed code towards a BSD or similar licensed code.
I never got why a business would choose GPL code over BSD licensed code.
They can modify and distribute all they want and only release their code changes if they choose to.
Hello Mosiac. It's been a LONG time, old friend. We've missed you.
Exactly. Who decides what browsers. I can see them saying: To comply we will offer the latest version of 3 compteting browsers.
1. Lynx
2. Mosaic
3. Netscape Navigator
Becuase "we" fear that there are all those "evil" people out there (somehwere?) to get us and try and kill us? That attitude is fabricated crap, generated from the kind of attitude present in text like this.
I have already experienced this with menus that require you to speak the choices. There is no touch tone options, your only choice is speak your commands.
But technically they aren't supposed to charge California sales tax if you are not a California resident.
For example. I live in Oregon, near Washington. Oregon has no sales tax but Washington does. If I go to a store in Washington I can show them my Oregon drivers license and they will not charge sales tax.
Except for in that case, she did what she was supposed to do. She registered her location for their 911 with the VoIP company. When she went to use the VoIP's 911 service it didn't work properly.
But shouldn't the RIAA be allowed to sell their product for what ever price they want. Whether thet are charging $5 per cd or $100 per cd, it still doesn't change the legallity of duplication.
The term "Second World" refers to the (former) communist-socialist, industrial states, the territory and sphere of influence of the Union of Soviet Socialists Republic.
So what your saying is you multiply bits by 8 to get bytes?
So we all know 8 bits in a byte. But by your logic I would take my 8 bits and MULTIPLY it by 8.
Your logic: 8 bits * 8 = 64 bytes
Reality: 8 bits / 8 = 1 byte
Yeah, but if you were searching for the bacteria testing kit Google would have failed. Where as yahoo and bing returned both.
You know you could form a Union at your workplace if it bothered you so much.

Same here. I don't understand why I need the X11 sources compiled from fink just to get apache 2 and php.
Not sure about on Mac, but on FreeBSD I define WITHOUT_X11 so that it doesn't do that.

No. Non-lethal means it doesn't kill the person. If it takes out an eye, it is still non-lethal.
How does one sue Linux. It is a piece of software. That is like asking how many times Windows XP was sued, or who sued Notepad.
So if my cable company starts using DPI, what choice do I have? They are the only available ISP.

It will then be:

Obviously half of $100 is $50.
If this Noone person held a gun to his head then the contract is not legally binding.

I have six tabs open and am using 30mb of ram with 1.0.3
Same mootherboard, but the 9700 pro, and I get the same thing sometimes at boot.
Take a look at this utility. Nlite http://nuhi.msfn.org/nlite.html It will create a custom iso with all the customixations you could want.

No.
3 billion pairs x 2 bits = 6 billion bits
6 billion bits / 8 = 750,000,000 bytes
750,000,000 bytes / 1024 = 732421.875 kb
732421.875 kb / 1024 = 715.2557373046875 mb
So it would be 1 700mb cd and a little bit on a second cd. And thats without running any sort of compression on the data.
I know the '05 Corvette's have that option for the ignition and the door locks.
Kind of like the original Quake?
