I have to admit, I did not read the entire FA. I found it boring... A long "what if we had freeking lazers" article imho.
However the idea of a 3d mouse is not a bad one. Strike that... the idea of controling a pointer with a wave of your hand (think mid air gestures like your casting some arcane spell). Combine this with speech control software (like Mac OS X has), and there could be really something special.
I also have to admit that I the computer mouse (and trackpad for that matter).
Your only Data option with the iPhone is unlimited Data (at a dirt cheep price may I say). AT&T would actually prefer you to use WiFi if you have it available, cause they have your money already.
There may be an issue if someone creates a VoIP app for the iPhone, but AFAIK there will not be any 3rd party apps because there is a lack of an SDK.
Whats your point? The summary is postulating that voice chat kills the immersion of a game, the "Role Playing Feel"; not that 11yo can't play video games.
We all know that 11yo are the best at video games.
Point taken
Im strictly going from my personal experience here though... and my personal experience is that I have never seen an nVidia based card bomb, while I have seen lots of ATI based cards bomb.
Implementing an HTTP stack is obvious yes, and prior art exists... but Microsoft is trying to tell you that they are doing things in a unique way.
This is multithreaded HTTP stack that has specific timing hooks. If I understand correctly, Microsoft thinks they can improve performance in the situation of having multiple datastreams by scheduling the datastream's packets (thus setting a priority) inside the stack and doing DNS lookups in parallel.
Is there prior art in this specific instance?

Perhaps Justin has bad Karma, or God may have cursed him.
