The United States, Canada and most of Europe do not have to worry about overpopulation. In fact, with the baby-boom generation reaching retirement and death, under-population is a concern. Canada's (my country) population would be in decline where it not for immigration.

Also, companies sometimes move operations to a less lawfully structured nations if the founding nations laws are too restrictive upon them.

Officially supported by Apple though? Without official support of the toolchain, all programs made using this will be 'homebrew' and not widely adopted.
